I stopped in after a golf round across the street hoping they’d have good pizza. I walked in and saw it was more of a full service restaurant but went to the counter to see what the deal was. I took a look at the menu and knew this place had it going on. Great, simplistic Italian menu and two gentlemen arguing (?) in Italian behind the counter. Jackpot. I asked for an personal pie of whatever their favorite was. They made me a “red top” plain-ish personal and it was absolute FIRE. I’m talking 9.4 good. I will 1000% be back
Had to be one of the worst pizzas that I've ever had. I would rather eat Dominos to be honest. I got the Nonna pizza, which includes provolone cheese, sauce, and pecorino Romano on top. I order red top pies a lot, but this was a NO. The provolone was extremely cheap tasting. It was more like American. It was so gross that I could barely finish my slice. Never again. And it's a more expensive pie
Gino's has an Italian family run atmosphere that is welcoming and hospitable. Their dining room is spacious so you're not sitting uncomfortably close to other diners. And the layout allows you to gang tables together for a large party without overcoming other guests. Portions are generous so choose something you'd like for left overs. The menu categories are fairly basic, several baked pasta (lasagna), several seafood pasta (shrimp or clams or muscles), build you own pizza, and about 10 veal options. The veal options are a pleasant surprise including classics like parmesan and marsala as well as fresh creations like Also Gino's and Sorrento. Parking on a weekday evening is plentiful. I'll be back to work my way through the veal selections.
Gino's is a fantastic local treasure restaurant in the Norristown area. Gino's is rebounding remarkably from "a discounted incident" and is back as a great place to dine. The restaurant has plenty of room and is nicely decorated. The staff is Awesome and the food is delicious. The servings are huge and the prices are appropriate. And, a final plus for Gino's is that it is a BYOB. Glad to see that Gino's is back and as good as it ever was!!
My husband and myself tried this awesome place for the first time on Tuesday night and from the time we walked in we were greeted right away. The food was excellent!!! Best Calamari ever. The owner came over introduced himself and was so welcoming along with our wonderful server Beth. We have found our place and will be regulars going forward!!!
The food and service here is incredible! A great spot for Friday night with friends, especially with the BYOB part. You should ask for Pino's special calamari - amazing!
ive been eating there for years always great food great servce soup is great love the glazed chicken great steak fries
My wife and I have been going to Gino’s for the past 24 years. We had another delicious meal tonight! The food and staff were excellent once again! Thank you Gino’s!
Like most places there are dozens of options for pizza in the East Norriton area. In lieu of all the exposure Ginos has gotten over the past 6 weeks, I thought I would try them out. Especially since they have been seemingly exonerated. We ordered pizza and a cheese steak stromboli. I have to tell you the pizza was excellent. The dough and crust were superior. Also I could tell they were using a quality pepperoni on their pies.. I know they got some bad press. We'll probably never know the real truth of it but you got to figure right now the restaurant is as clean as it's ever been. I'd recommend giving them a try.
Great dinner tonight, glad to be back!!
