Ordered tso chicken, Sweet and sour chicken and a small tub of fried rice. Was not told the price over the phone…when the lady at the front desk finally got off the phone to take my payment, I realized it was $48 for 2 small meals. I reluctantly paid and figured the price might be worth it. General tso chicken was unbelievably spicy, without a doubt the spiciest general tso I could imagine. Couldn’t take more than 3 bites, and the Sweet and sour chicken looked like it came out of a box and had very few vegetables with it. Worst Chinese I’ve had while also being the most expensive. Do not recommend, you can get better bang for your buck at literally any other Chinese restaurant.

Today, I had the worse experience here! I needed to purchase water because the temperature had reached approximately 100°; so since I was in the area. I figured the eatery would have water for sale. To my utter dismay, the young woman at the front desk was on her phone even though I had placed two bottles of water on the counter to be paid for, she continued to talk on the phone for about 2 minutes. When I looked around to see if someone else could assist me, she continued on her phone for approximately another minute and then hung up. She asked if I was eating and I said no, just purchasing water. After paying for the water I asked if I could have a bag, I just had surgery on my leg and walk with a cane.I thought to myself how in the world can I possibly carry Two bottles of water without a bag? I asked for a bag, she flung an unopened plastic bag onto the counter and walked away. When she realized I couldn’t open the bag she returned, opened the bag and flung it onto the counter again.Suddenly, an older woman in the restaurant came to assist me noticed and placed the 2 bottles of water in the bag. And it was the sheer look ofDisappointment in her eyes that I had been treated this way. I so appreciate her grace, her kindness and respect for a “HANDICAP” person. Unlike the inconsiderate woman at the counter behind thought it was too much to assist a disabled person by placing water in a bag. ?Now the young lady at the front desk and I hope you read this carefully: my name is Dr. Hollis, I own a multimedia firm in PA and NY. We do public relations, media relations, produce for television and film and you just made my docket to do a story on your nasty behavior.I hope no one ever experience what I experienced with you, ever. You’re rude ,obviously you have some dark issues to think it’s OK to be nasty. To the older woman who I will call my angel, thank you for being kind.

Food is four star, but there are two things left a very bad taste in our mouth.1) the Yelp “buy any entree and get a free dessert” promo of this place doesn’t exist. When I presented the offer to the female owner, she made a big scene as if I’m asking for imaginary stuff. She said they no longer honored it and that the offer expired long time ago. Well, if that’s the case, they need to fix it.2) when my husband went to pay, the charge went through his AMEX card. The female owner scolded the innocent waitress, and demanded my husband to pay again with visa. She initially didn’t want to give him the refund receipt either—she asked my husband to take a picture. It’s a mini battle to get the AMEX refund and to pay again with Visa. Things like this are so petty that it shouldn’t have happened.I’m not sure if I want to come back again or not, as I felt so bad that the waitress got scolded simply because she allowed someone to pay with American Express.

I have not put a review for this restaurant for a while. Once, I gave it 4 stars years ago but now 3 or less consider some entries are still good but less portions on certain dishes that I used to order. One certain dish surely change is cold spicy beef tripes strips.. my favorite is less portions and cut differently.. some dishes tasted too salty others just spicy without additional flare.. different chef cooking now or pandemic has cause new changes.. don’t know..

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!The staff is not that nice she even let us find table by ourselves. No one take care order even water for us until we call her.We ordered four dishes and none of them are tasty. I spent 40 dollars on their "house special spicy fish“, this dish only come with bean sprouts and few fish fillet, no any other vegetables and tasty even disgusting. We waited around 30mins to get our food. And the first dish is our dessert?!That's ridiculous! I won't never come back. I tipped this restaurant 15%(around 13 dollars) followed by "rule". But in my opinion, they don't deserve it.

Outstanding, dine in Chinese Restaurant. Yes, they have take out but this isn’t one of the plexiglass restaurants that are sadly in abundance these days. Attractively decorated, comfortable seating, friendly, very laid back service. Excellent food with real heart. The only thing I didn’t like was the wonton soup. Use better wrappers, better filling. please.Your guests will thank you❤️.

Awesome restaurant! Authentic and friendly family-run place. The double-cooked pork is the best of the suburbs, thin-sliced porky deliciousness with tender leeks. Red revolution fish is super spicy but light since it is a soup with fish and bean sprouts; the fish chunks are almost buttery. Ma La chicken spicy and crisp. Many great dishes are available that are not spicy, such as black pepper lamb. Generous portions. Highly recommended. Dine-in is best since the dishes are improved when they are freshly cooked.

The woman at the counter was great. I’d come back just for the good service. Restaurant itself seems clean & comfortable but i ordered take out. Ordered general combo w fried rice, was given white rice & a fairly small portion of chicken compared to other restaurants. My aunt got lo mein, I didn’t try it but she was unimpressed. Both dishes lacked flavor. Also ordered wonton soup.. 3 wontons & the broth was just tinted water. No flavor. The egg rolls are the smallest I’ve ever seen. Maybe we’ll try again in a few months.

This place came recommended, what a disappointment, order a large wonton soup (Horrible) it was wonton noodles in water,no suconions, absolutely no flavor, the egg rolls were so tiny, you need 3 just to taste 1,no more recommendations from this person...they don't have anything on( Pearl Garden) WILL NOT BE RETURNING
