woke up and headed here on a Sunday morning for tamales. They were perfect.
The menu and service were beyond our expectations. We really loved the vibes of this place. Fantastic spot to take the family out for dinner.

Lucy our server was so kind and helpful! My flour fried fish was incredible! Just lightly fried and so so yummy. Two large filets, a small portion of guacamole, rice (very bland) and refried beans for $14. The chips were thick and the green sauce too spicy for me. I’d go back for sure.
Trejo is a well kept restaurant serving great food. The dish on the cover of their menu is to die for - deliciouso !They recently catered a luncheon given for our manager. The food was very fresh and tasty. Everyone in our unit thoroughly enjoyed it. You gotta try it just once. Willing to bet you'll visit again and again :)
The woman (owner) that works there was RUDE! When I went to pay for my food and was given the total, I asked how much each item I got costed. She got irritated and yelled to me the price of each item. It took every ounce in me to stay calm and just walk away. I will never go back here!!! I got 3 steak tacos, rice and beans, and two sodas for $17.00. I HAD EVERY RIGHT TO ASK HOW MUCH EACH ITEM COST, NOT THAT SERIOUS! Taqueria La Michoacana is where I will continue to go, the food taste much better (authentic) and they are pleasant and professional at ALL times.
Tucked away on a side-street, this place is easy to miss, especially with all of the other local Mexican places in Norristown. We enjoy Trejo, though -- it's our go-to when we want something that's not fancy but good. The pineapple salsa that they give you on the table is refreshing and just a little spicy. Try the carne asada, and if you are on a budget you can get it in a burrito cheaper than the regular meal (but everything here is reasonable).

Each time I go to Trejo, the service is great, the portions are plenty and the food is authentic! The menu has many options and I highly recommend it.
