The atmosphere was incredible! Maybe just a hint dark, but the music was outstanding. The only thing that out did it was the food. The appetizer we ordered, beef steak egg rolls, is dangerous. They were so good we almost cancelled our main order, almost. The main meal was very, very good. Our waiter had to cover a large area but he made sure we were taken care of. Cudos to him, sorry forgot his name.
I am tired of giving bad reviews but the service provided was terrible! The food was good and would have been better if it was hot. I ordered Curbside pickup on Mother's day. Pickup time was 5:30pm. I tipped 20%. I notified them I was outside waiting through the email. Waited 15 minutes, nobody showed up, called the number on the sign and was told they would notifythe store i was outside, waited 5 minutes, nobody came. Called again and got the same response. I waited again, nobody came. I told my kids I was going in because nobody is coming. I went inside and the bar tender had to grab my orange bring it to me. So it took more time to wait for my food then it did to drive to the restaurant and back. I waited a half hour for service I was not going to receive and in return my food sat and waited 30 minutes for me to grab it myself. I literally tipped them for nothing.
April 27th was administrative day. My job place an order for about 7 to 10 of us. I ordered for the first time whiskey glazed ribs and they were wonderful. I called to give a compliment and ask to speak with the manager I was transferred to a line that just rang and rang and rang not even a voicemail. I would have given them five stars if I would have got at least a voicemail. That whiskey glaze is delicious!
Horrible place anymore. I gave it time to get things in order and gave them a second chance, won't give them another one. Place is dirty, service is so bad i was ready to leave. Seriously. Finally got our appetizer and only one of us had silverware to eat. Server said she would get some, didn't see her again till the meal came. So, its cold and we paid for it to sit there. Maybe we were supposed to share that one set. Don't waste your time or money here. You'll leave irritated and disappointed. I won't be surprised to see this place close down.
Our server Isreal was amazing. He took great care of us. Very attentive. The food was awesome.
Just walked out, bartender eating at the bar, the other bartender standing around doing nothing. Waited over 20 minutes and couldn't even get a glass of water. When our drinks finally got made the server stood at the bar watching t.v. Absolutely no manager presence on the floor. Terrible service. Restaurants are already still recovering from COVID and you would think you would do your job and take care of guests but it's obvious that's not a priority.
Good food I look for deals and specials so I can really enjoy it. Though not as good as it used to be, I still enjoy it occasionally.
Unfortunately this place was over crowded and we were unable to get a seat within a reasonable time. This was my only complaint. The staff seemed pretty nice. I'm assuming that it was crowded because it's a great place to dine. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see for myself the next time around. ?
Came hungry..ate plenty..was much satisfied with service and quality of food served
We live in the North Hills of Pittsburgh and had a wonderful TGIF restaurant that we frequented often. The service and food were always perfect - never any complaints. We show up one day to find the sign board laying on the ground - out of business. We then drove down to the PPG arena location on days when there was no sporting event but that one is also permanently closed. Today we decided to try the one in Monroeville and were pretty disappointed. Our waitress was very friendly, but overwhelmed and we had to remind her more than once about drink refills and missing side items. My husband's ribs were good but not exceptional like they were when Jack Daniels was the sauce they used. The cole slaw was a bit better than the old version but not by much. I ordered the shrimp and chicken alfredo, minus the cajun seasoning, and was hugely disappointed. The shrimp and chicken were okay but the alfredo sauce was terrible - no taste whatsoever - worse than the worst jar sauce brand I've ever tried. Certainly not worth $17.00. I can't believe I redeemed more than 100 points from my rewards program on that terrible meal. Prior to Covid I ordered take-out from here one day for dinner with friends and there was not one thing correct in my order, not to mention the missing items. That was an $80+ mistake for sure. We ate at the Washington, PA location while getting our Covid vaccines last year and our waiter was amazing and the food was perfect, but that is more than an hour away from our home which is sad.
