The steak is basically chipped steak, not alot of flavor unless you add mushrooms and onions. The fries were good because they are fresh cut not frozen. The meal of half of any hogie, fries and a drinks for $10.50 plus tax is the way to go. I can't believe their whole hogies are 12 inches and cost $15 plus ,Seems a bit pricey. I'm from the area but now living in New Jersey where everything is expensive but their hogies don't cost 15 + . I had to stop because Rudy's has been there since I was a little kid and I'm in my 50s now.
Food is good, customer service is trash. Called at 9:15 on a Saturday night for a pickup order, and the girl answering the phone says "nah, we're done for the night"... they close at 10 and refused to take an order for 2 footlong COLD sandwiches? Feel bad for whoever owns this place. Their workers don't gaf.
Fantastic subs with an amazing staff. Didn’t wait long for my food, which was made correctly and tasted delicious!!!!
Took a chance and visited the sub legend in Monroeville Rudy's. I must say it was a d*** good steak hoagie
Usually love this place, but today I ordered 3 foot long subs and all of them were burnt to a crisp, see pic. I am very surprised they would sell it like this to the public, but maybe they thought I wouldn’t notice since it was on the inside and it was a takeout order? I called to let them know and they said sorry the oven must have been set too high. That’s it, no offer to make it right. Oh well, buyer beware. Maybe unwrap it in the store before you pay for it.

I have always received great food and service at this location, last night i ordered typical order and food was tasteless, dried out and onions were grilled black. Night crew is not a choice i would make again.
We came out toward Monroeville for a trip to an aquarium and came upon Rudy's. My girlfriend and I tried the baked Italian and oh lord was it amazing. I didn't catch the gentleman's name behind the counter but his service was top notch. Will be back.
Good Subs for years. Tons of Business all the time. Geeze, put a little money in your atmosphere. The place always looks filthy
I found this place by mistake a d decided to give it a try. It is very good and staff is friendly. The sell beer and you can consume there which is a plus. Sandwiches are very yummy.
