Pictures speak for itself.2 stars for compensating our meal, but they clearly don’t care about their customers. Had to call the establishment after WE had a BATTERY in our meal. The GM was rude and seemed to not care. Won’t be back and telling others not to go either.EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!
The servers were nice,friendly and helpful. The problem was the food. It had no taste. I had the soup and it was not seasoned at all. The Fish and chips were lousy . There were 2 nice filets served, nicely battered. They were greasy as if nobody drained them. The fries were limp and tasted like the fish. They did make a nice Gin and Tonic. For what it was I felt their prices were to highI could have gone to Eat n Park and had a better piece of fish with good fries. Not headed back anytime soon.
They have very good French onion soup. And my husband likes French dressing, which they carry (simany restaurants don't). Salads were good, but nothing to write home about. I'd go just for the soup. The tortilla soup is also excellent.
Our go to lunch restaurant. They have a great turkey burger, and salads. They're hamburgers look delicious...they are huge. The tortilla soup is fantastic. Everything I've tried there was really good. Fast, friendly service.
The food was great but the service could be a little better. When dinning with family it took our server a good minute to bring out our drinks and when one of my family members ask for a bag to take her food to go one of the servers set the bag down at another empty booth next to us expecting us to get up and get the bag instead of just laying the bag on the table or handing it right to her. Just my personal experince and my opinion but the food and drinks was great.
Stopped in Monroeville for work and they were right by the hotel so we went there, didn't regret it. Had the soft pretzels and grilled chicken Caesar salad and it was very good. Our server, Jason, was very nice and attentive. Would definitely go again.
The entire order was wrong. Salad was suppose to be grilled and we got crispy chicken on it (seriously grilled chicken comes on a salad). If I remember correctly from the menu you actually have to change it to crispy. Ordered a burger with cheese and ketchup only. Burger came with everything on it and a ketchup packet on the side. It's almost like the order was deliberately made wrong. I live right around the corner from the restaurant and order quite a bit from here and I have to say this is the worst experience I've had. Debatable if I'll order again which is a shame but the food going out definitely needs someone checking it. Or employees that care even the least bit about the customers.
This was a nice restaurant in the past. I frequented the downtown location while attending evening classes at CCAC. This is my first time eating at this location and I will never come again. The portions were smaller than I would like. I ordered the Pittsburgh salad usually the bell peppers would be the same size and they were not. I had what looked like 6 pieces of steak and it wasn’t cut evenly. It was almost like the chef had zero experience cooking in a kitchen. There were fruit flies don’t waste your time at this location. The bathroom was very clean and the staff was constantly cleaning up. Not one ounce of dirt on the floor.
Good American fare. Great selection of burgers. The waitress could of made the experience much nicer.
I had a good time. My girl took me out to eat. I just wasn't happy that my Salmon dinner was $15 and change, and the other half wasn't there. It was good it's been over 30 years since I been at a Max & Erma's. Glad to see that the menu expanded. You use to couldn't get turkey burgers. A plus in that.
