Oh my goodness!!! James Street Tavern has the most phenomenal Hot Sausage sandwich [w/ tater tots] I have ever had.Their bread is so soft with a crunch crust. The sauce does not sog the bread. The Sausage is a bit spicy with a kick but not over-powering. Their tater tots are crunchy and explosive when you bite into them.It's clear they change out their oils and season to perfection.The clientele is a mixed crowd. Older generation before 8pm on Friday & Saturday. Younger crowds after 9pm. Very friendly people to be sociol with. Friendly bar staff and fair prices.

We found this place less than a mile from our front door at the beginning of the pandemic and since then it has been a family favorite with great prices, nice sized servings and awesome food!! The service has always been awesome!

I'm here for a business trip and It was my first time going there on 10/18/21 and I loved it... yes you get to vape inside. I only vape so yeah never touched a cig but I don't mind from others. It is not very smoky in there It is a good vibe there, great environment and Nikki is the best bartender! I will be going back soon to try their food as well! Can't wait! Oh very cheap pitcher of beer. Very diverse, mix of ages. Just had a great experience the first time I went and again going back soon!!
