I have a lot of mixed feelings about Hello Bistro in general. To start I liked it more a couple of years ago, typically I would order some kind of burger and potato soup. That being said potato soup is no longer an option. Also the quality of the food is very inconsistent. Sometimes your burger will be perfect, other times burned to a crisp. Fries also vary on doneness and at times have enough salt to preserve your insides forever. (which is too much)Salads are ok with most ingredients being very fresh, but most sauces have a tendency to appear bland.Recently protein bowls have appeared on the scene, and pack the same underwhelming nature. They tout ancient grains as the base and are mixed with Kale, a surefire way to ensure lack of flavor and even with meats are served cold. Protein such as avocado and shrimp will cost you extra.Overall if you're nuts about salad this is probably a spot for you, otherwise an alternate option such as Chick-fil-A or Wendy's will probably suit better.

Food was good… but my turkey burger was the thinnest “burger” patty I’ve seen in my life. Definitely felt ripped off by my meal. Should have just gone to McDonalds for a McDouble.

The food is good for price but unfortunately I have had nothing but bad experiences with pick up orders. This location has made mistakes numerous times (at least 4 or 5x - at this point I should give up and not go back) and seems to have no quality control when verifying and packing to go orders. Make sure you check your order before you leave because chances are it is probably wrong.

Never had a problem any time I've been there, except for now. Had a $2.00 coupon but the cashier forgot to take it off the check. She handed it back to me and told me to use it the next time I was in. problem is it expires shortly.

very delicious, such a large variety of choices to build your own salad. will eat here again when in the area

As an ex employee of the hello bistro in Oakland, I’ve never encountered staff who don’t greet you when you walk in. The staff are all bothered when questions about the food they serve. I literally had a staff member stuck there teeth and rolls there yes cause I have an allergy … excuse me. I literally can’t help it ..I currently work for a salon in Monroeville and order 40 dollars worth of food for the staff almost 2 times a week. We are seriously considering ordering from location because the staff as a whole is sooo rude.If you are a part of management please encourage your staff to be kind. Customers are spending more than 10 dollars per transaction and would love to feel like they are valued…

1 hr to have 3 Salads made from a salad bar when there were more employees in the store than customers. And this isn't the first time that I've waited over 45 mins for my order to be ready when I was given a time of 20 mins to pickup. Also, my order was wrong again. Not the first time this has happened, but it will definitely be the last. I'll never go back to this or any of their stores. You know it is bad when an employee says, "yeah, this is terrible. I tell all my friends to not come here. I don't know why anyone comes back."

Decent place to grab burgers and salads. I tried the Buffalo Chicken salad. It was fine. Nothing too exciting but it was good. The team was VERY friendly and the restaurant is very clean. My only real complaint was that the kitchen is very noisy with lots of clanging and pounding…it was too much. Curious to try the burgers and fries next.

This place is an absolute joke. Waited 35 minutes for a salad, soup and an order of fry’s. Once food arrived salad was not correct, soup was the wrong size and freezing cold. When wanting to speak about these concerns with a member of the management team, we were told sorry we are super busy and that was it. Would not recommend this place. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where you are appreciated.

Had lunch at 1:30pm on a Friday. There was one order in front of us. Two burgers and fries took 30 minutes, everything was cold and the $10 burgers (with the bun) were smashed to about 1 inch thick. For $40, I would choose somewhere else to eat in the area. They get two stars because they have salads. Otherwise skip this place.
