Sat at the bar for 15 minutes only to be completely ignored by both bartenders and the manager ? all of who talked to the older couple next to me but wouldn't look at my friend or I.* Never returning to this place. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.*to clarify, I understand the place can be busy but a simple "I'll be with you in a moment" goes a long way. Don't ignore patrons for extended periods.
My absolute favorite restaurant! My family and I eat here frequently and I’ve never left disappointed. I highly recommend the shrimp tacos. Not only is the food A+ but the staff is top notch. Welcoming, friendly, efficient service every single time we’ve eaten here.
Friendly service, good food, nice atmosphere. We drop in about once a month or so. Good chips & salsa. Comfortable bar to sit at. We have enjoyed many of their entree combos and they don't disappoint. Ample parking and an easy entry way.
I really wanted to write a good review but… I found the salsa lacking something. The tacos were ok. My wife and I both found the chili Relleno Watery and lacking flavor.
Best Mexican food I've ever had. And I continue to eat here. And take out is a wonderful option . Always on time. Hot and ready. Boom!
I don't want to be too harsh - I've worked in restaurants. (I still have the scars to prove it.) I know how hard it is. That's why I didn't say anything until now. But it appears that the business takes feedback seriously, so....*More attention needs to be paid to cleanliness. The light fixture above the table needed to be addressed. (Dust ) There was a persistent house fly that really, really wanted to join us for our meal. (I know they're hard to get rid of, but they're not a good sign.)*My date has a sensitivity to citric acid. We politely advised the server before placing our orders so the kitchen staff could be notified and appropriate measures could be taken (e.g. avoiding cross-contamination). The server didn't seem to understand. Obviously, my date ordered something that didn't involve the presence of citrus. When our food arrived, my date took a bite or two and immediately had a reaction. Clearly someone dropped the ball.
The best Mexican food Pittsburgh has to offer! I travel a lot for work and I always try to find the best local spots. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. To the person[s] that thinks Taco Hell is better, you obviously don't know Mexican food.I can't speak for the entire menu as this was my first visit. The dish I had (chile colorodo) was deliciously spicy that awoke my taste buds! I highly recommend this if you like spicy food. I can't wait to eat there again!By the way...My bill was high, but only because I had 5 of my favorite beers (Sol) and 1 tequila (1942) along with my meal!
The food here was good and the service was friendly and prompt. This place has a lot of seating available and a huge parking lot.Is it the best in Pittsburgh for this kind of food? No, it's certainly not and there is better available but this place was above average and they have a very wide variety of menu options sure to please every person at the table. We didn't order any alcoholic beverages but they had a pretty extensive list of options for people who enjoy those kinds of drinks. In terms of regular drinks they serve Pepsi products as well as orange juice and milk.I would not repeat as there is better not far away from here but honestly if your close to this place and deciding if you should go based on the reviews you will certainly not be disappointed by your experience here.I'm terms of price my family of four was 140 after taxes and tip and that was without any alcohol so if you have 4 people who get full meals with ice cream added on that's roughly what you will spend but that is pretty much the norm these days so it's right in the middle of affordability.
Had a wonderful evening dining out with some friends! I’m always hesitant to go to restaurants due to the pandemic, but the staff wore masks the entire time! Excellent service and the food was delicious. I would certainly recommend and I will definitely be going back!
I think this restaurant has closest thing to authentic Mexican food in Pittsburgh. The ingredients were fresh and top quality as well as being properly prepared! Service was friendly and efficient. I will come back! Also, I had the opportunity to practice my Spanish which was accepted graciously by my " camerero"! A pleasurable experience in general!
