Todays visit to turning point was disappointing and had me and my friend questioning the value for the $60 (including tip) we spent. The server was pleasant, but that’s kinda where the good experience ended. The cups that were on the table for water were very dirty. There was no silverware on the table. We ordered French press coffee and needed an additional coffee cup which came out dirty (not stained, I checked). We ordered French toast and a skillet. The French toast wasn’t cooked all the way threw and the skillet was very bland. My favorite thing about this place was that it was just a little different then a regular everyday diner with different flavor and freshly prepared everything. That didn’t come threw on this visit. It wasn’t just a miss in the front of the house but also the back. I hope by posting this review that things will change and the quality and attention to detail I have come to expect will return.

My husband and I visited today for the first time to celebrate our Anniversary. We had the lobster, shrimp and grits and the French toast. The food was AMAZING! We definitely look forward to visiting this restaurant again. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The only drawback was the pitcher of water that was brought to the table. We did not drink it because it had a smell to it. Definitely wasn't spring water.

The wait was slightly long it was Mothers Day..so I’m not complaining. They quickly made up for the wait with excellent service from our waitress Brittany. Our food did not take long at all and it was 6 of us! I am definitely going back for another Caramel Latte, and the Chicken and Waffles! ❤️

Rachel was THE BEST server. She was so nice and funny and got our food to us fast. We come back all the time just so we have her as our server. The food is always great and we love the atmosphere at turning point! :)

Went to Brunch at this restaurant and had the best time! The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was gorgeous and welcoming at the same time. The staff...AMAZING. Our waiter was so friendly, gave us great recommendations, and knew the menu well. He was so personable and made our awesome brunch even better. HIGHLY recommend!!

Good food,. My eggs in purgatory, unfortunately we're cold when arrived....Need to make sure your order is hotBecause it is so crowded your wait time maybe long for the food. And it sits......

Update: Gave them another try. Ordered oatmeal. It arrived without brown sugar or a spoon! Removed a star. So much for the promise of fixing these issues. My coworkers and I have ordered take out a few times and there is ALWAYS something wrong or missing. Today was the last straw. I ordered french toast and there was no syrup?! Just careless mistakes.

This is my first time here & I have to say although I liked the food our server Lilly could have been way happier, welcoming, attentive and more energetic… To start, we ordered the cold brew which for being 4.50 I asked if it was free refills & was told & shown by waitress’ approximate hand measurement that it was big enough that a refill wouldn’t be needed. because she wasn’t even sure if it was free refill or not. on top of this it was supposed to not be bitter as stated on menu “no bitterness”, i love coffee & i’m pretty familiar with it & honestly it was so bitter not even sugar helped. Also i decided to add cold foam to coffee and was warned about the extra $0.50 charge but not informed that adding cold foam means the cold brew it now made in a glass half the size.. ironic since it’s more expensive. The food was pretty good as mentioned earlier but if i’m being honest $4.30 for turkey bacon when the plate came with 3 pieces was extreme. it didn’t even look or taste like turkey bacon. $13.50 for the huevos rancheros is not the move as even though it was pretty in appearance, it was labeled as grande on the menu and half the size of other restaurants that charge less. did not taste like it was worth all the $$ either. The food here is decent but the pricing is simply too much. To consider coming here again, I know now to bring more money as breakfast for two costed $50. two dishes & bacon & coffee… outrageous :). To end, the waitress seemed uneducated about the restaurant & menu as any question we asked her since being a first customer was barely able to answered. When it came time to pay, it was obvious the waitress was just waiting to get her tip as she kept walking by staring & asking if we were good or ready. As being a server myself, i know that is rude & counting your tips out in the open on the counter is a flat out no (which was also done during our meal time). ps. you want something less expensive go to Nudy’s which is 10x better & cheaper.

definitely potential for it to be 5 stars, the two occasions we have been there, they were short on silverware and we had to ask for it when we got our food. They have some operational opportunities that need to be fixed to be a 5 star review. The food is delicious! I got the seasonal home sweet home hash, and seasonal gingerbread latte. Both were delicious! My boyfriend got the huevos rancheros and loved it! Definitely will be back soon!
