Amazing atmosphere and the staff was great. I will go out on a limb here and say kid friendly but it was very loud the entire time. I think our server was covering the entire restaurant unfortunately. But she still got it done!! The menu is perfectly sized with great options, less thinking and contemplating. Our table had 5 different meals and all the food was rated as good around the table but not amazing, just good.
Fantastic food and the music was amazing!!!
Everything. Especially the show and great food!

20 of us had an after funeral lunch at the Towne House this afternoon and it was amazing from start to finish. The service was impeccable and the food was fabulous. The brunch special was enough food to feed my daughter's fiance and the Monte Cristo was fabulous!!! The new owners have done an incredible job to make the Towne House a go-to place! I'll be back!!!
I haven't been to the Towne house Resturant since I was 10 years old. New management. Menus are small and limited, food was NOT okay. Presentation was NICE but, Having eggs served on top of everything wasn't good to do. There was a hair in my food! ( I did not complain but, did not finish ). The grits were creamy not only did my veteran boyfriend think they were weird tasting but, my Dad who was the #1 realtor in Media also made the same face! A " gross " look! Tea was excellent though. Very small glasses for juice. A whiskey glass served with not even full orange juice!? The waitress walked around alot. Another waiter served the food. Once I paid she had the nerve to come back to the table saying " $3 tip?! " Just WOW!!! MY DAD, VETERAN SPOUSE was very appalled as was I! She walked off with the slip in the air giving the table a nasty look! Bad for service. It was in the hour of brunch. 1pm to 2:40pm! I am very disappointed. It wasn't worth the price! Very over priced for brunch time. The reason besides all of the other issues; her attitude. We tried to let her know the grits tasted funny, refused to accommodate us with the skillets we had. I had to ask for ketchup also to give the eggs flavor. We also had to ask for cream for our teas. She almost spilled my Dad's HOT tea on his head!! He is 87 years old. We were there to celebrate his birthday.
My first time to the Townhouse. Service was great. Food was great. Drinks were great. Took a quick tour and was just amazed at the entire place. Can’t wait to see it during summer. I’ve been a lot of places away from home and recently moved back to Delco from Manayunk. TH crushes any place I’ve ever been to in the city and could give a ton of places in New England and in DC-VA a heck of a run for their money and they don’t have the benefit of being on water. Really impressed with the entire place and staff were awesome.
The Towne House boasts a very gracious staff, excellent creative cuisine, great service, and fun cocktails in stylish upgraded decor. We have dined there several times at the Town Hall and the Shebeen and have never been disappointed. We are looking forward to an evening in Idlewild in the spring.
I had the most amazing experience at the Towne House!! When I was little for my birthday my family would take me out to dinner and it was always at the Towne House! The restaurant always meant so much to me and when the news broke about it being sold and renovated, my heart was broken. I thought it would never be the same... I was wrong.A dear friend of mine wanted to catch up and she suggested the Towne House, I was hesitant to go because I didn't want to taint the memories I had of the old Towne House. After some convincing, I said yes. We went on a Wednesday night and the restaurant wasn’t terribly crowded and we were seated in the corner booth of the restaurant. I was taken aback by the overall aesthetic of the interiors, honestly beautiful and perfectly done! (This is coming from an Interior Designer) Our server Jacob greeted us like we were one of his friends and gave us drink and food suggestions. The cocktails were amazing and were nothing I have seen at any restaurant in Media! I ordered the Black Tea Brined Amish Chicken, and my friend ordered the flounder special. Everything was cooked perfectly, filled us both up, and was worth the price. Overall, the Towne House has lived up to my expectations. The staff was very kind and helpful especially when we had questions about the menu. The food was spectacular, and the atmosphere was incredible. I will definitely be coming back, and I will suggest this to anyone looking to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or just a night out. It’s nice to have the Towne House back!!
Good food and plenty of room for watching the gameNeed to figure out the service situation. If they are waiting on tables service is far too infrequent. If it's self service they need to supply pitchers of water and the like.Still, had a good time watching a bad eagles game
