Salad Hot Dogs Cocktail Bar

Outstanding food. John may be the best bartender I've ever encountered. If you enjoy brown drinks, bring your wallet and an open mind. He cannot go wrong.Ciara has awesome energy. She served us and the food was excellent. Great sausage rolling and chips and mushy peas.16th anniversary was a hit bc of these two. Loved it.

Ordered takeout. Ordered 2 Shepard’s pies… got home and looked to find they had given me a vegan version. Tasted dreadful. Mistakes happen but I know what I ordered and it wasn’t that …

Nice atmosphere with the candlelight. Got a World flight which was a nice mix of whiskeys. Ordered the cheese curds and the lobster bisque. Cheese curds were huge and amazing, lobster bisque was sub-par. It was watery without any chunks of lobster, hardly a bisque. We waited to order until after the appetizers and it took them 40 minutes to bring out our food..which was a pretty long wait. I got the Amish Chicken Breast, the chicken was cooked perfectly and hot with a nice crispy skin. The grits underneath were cold with undercooked butternut squash cubes. My husband's Striploin Steak was mostly fat and overcooked..they were nice and did take it of the bill. He also had a baked potato that didn't come with butter and there was no salt and pepper at the table.Server took too long to come over to ask for some. My dad's Shepard's Pie was fine but a little cold. All in all, I was expecting a better experience which was disappointing but overall it was okay. They have the atmosphere just right, they just need to up the food and service game...drinks are delicious so it seems the bar side is where to go.

Food was delicious. We had a number of dishes...shepherd's pie, Amish chicken, prime rib. That prime rib was enormous! Our server was very attentive. Highly recommend this place.

The food is so good, the staff is very friendly and the look of the place is reallynice! Definitely recommend.

The worst restaurant experience my wife and I have had in the 8 years we've been together. Now, my brother in law had gone to this restaurant and had a similar experience. He's actually from Ireland so I was surprised when he said how negative his experience was. He specifically mentioned the food and the service. But...he also went, literally within the first week the restaurant opened so, you sort of expect there to be some issues. Since they've been open for some time now, my wife and I decided to check it out on Saint Patty's Day. After we were seated, the only time a waiter or waitress came to our table was to take our order and eventually bring the food/drinks. At no point, during our entire two hours of being seated at the restaurant, did anyone come by and ask "Do you need anything? or "How is everything?". There were empty tables. I could at least understand if people were in line outside....they weren't I believe about 30 minutes had passed before I finally just flagged someone down to order a second drink. My wife ordered soup that she thought was supposed to come with some bread. It did not and when she asked, the guy (runner from the back and not our waiter) said "Let me check" and we never saw him again. When we did get our food, my wife's order was wrong. When her new order was brought back, the man delivering said two drinks were on the house because of the mix-up. This is nice...but another inconvenience later. My ribs were very overcooked. Dry, chewy and crunchy. The sides were okay but nothing out of this world. At this point, I had reached my "I'm done" moment. It took roughly 50 minutes from the time we finished, to actually get the check. It really became comical to my wife and I, like how long are we going to sit here done before someone actually comes over. Our waiter actually cleared a table next to us, cleaned it and then set it and not once looked towards us. My wife kept believing that sooner or later, he's at least going to look up to see if we need anything and he never did. We had a good chuckle and moment of disbelief but we were getting tired of sitting there. Once we hit 50 minutes, we flagged someone down. The drinks that were on the house, remember those? They were still on the bill... We had to flag someone down again. The bill is finally right and again....we find ourselves just waiting for someone to come over to just take payment. Finally, we just got up and walked up to the bar. All in all, from the time we finished eating to the the time we paid and left was about an hour. ***Positives Drinks were good and well presented Large selection of Whiskey's Soup was tasty and rich Front bar appears to have a nice atmosphere to watch some games ***Additional comments My wife and I were both understanding that it was Saint Patty's day and slow service might be a thing. When we walked in and walked out there were empty tables so they weren't totally swamped. A party of four sat down after my wife and I. They ordered, ate, paid and left before we did. ***Comments from friends following our post "We also had a not so great experience at Shebeen. Food was all mediocre (at best), the service was terrible, and it was SO LOUD!" "Shebeen??? Service and food was crap when we were there. Only reason id ever go again would be to watch rugby n have a pint." "We were there early and were in and out. Food was fast and out hot. It’s tough on holidays"

international rugby shown on multiple big screen TV. Friendly staff, good food, cold beverages ;)
