Our server was absolutely lovely and tried to be very accommodating. This place has really gone downhill while their prices have gone up. They were out of the calamari, which is fine. We ordered the muscles we got nine muscles for $16. They went to get us more muscles but we tried the muscles that were at our table and they were absolutely disgusting, oversized and undercooked. We sent everything back. My meatball was dry with very little seasoning and my husband‘s sandwich was under size and Wayover priced. At this point we just wanted to cut our losses and get out of there. We’re parents of young children who don’t get out often so For $80 and being there less than an hour we are extremely underwhelmed abs disappointed. I think this place has gotten to its head and the prices have gone over our head and the plates have gotten smaller. Do NOT recommend.
LaPorta is a quaint bar restaurant with great food, great cocktails and great atmosphere. We especially enjoy the brick oven pizza.Weekends there us musicAlways a classy crowd and the bartenders are very energetic and attentive.Overall we enjoy coming to LaPorta a couple times a month for a nice “date” night!

Great charming atmosphere with live music (on a Saturday night). Food is rich and decadent. We had the meatloaf dinner and the short rib pasta. It was our first time here and I'd say we liked it but not as a regular stop for us. Food was a little too rich.
One of our favorite restaurants in Media. We've never had a bad meal here in all the years we've been coming. Highly recommend!
Always heard how good this place was so I was excited to try it. My appetizer, the mushroom soup, was pretty amazing. But I have to say honestly I was underwhelmed by my entree....the blackened red snapper. It was good, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't hot. It must've sat for 10-15 minutes before it was brought out. The waitress apologized several times for things taking long. Of course things happen, I get that. Like I said...my entree was good... not great, so imagine my surprise when I saw it was $35!! (It was a special so not on the menu.) All in all I would say it was NOT worth the price. I didn't complain about it being served warm because, well I hate being a Kevin/Karen.So to sum up......good, not great.
The food was delicious, the meat was amazing, the place was beautiful, the only criticism was that it was cold inside.
Historic place with ambience and excellent food. Prices are incredibly high ( $9 for a meatball, $17 for a pizza ) but enjoyed the experience. Good service. Not sure I’d come back.

Great food and some of the best service in DELCO!
