I normally do not give Five Stars to any restaurant. But DiFabio's did it for me.My girlfriend and I go out for meals about three times a week, and on all of our visits to a restaurant, we mention to the server that she has a shell food allergy. The server was very aware of the dangers/effects of this allergy and assured us that he will communicate this to the Shef. From that moment on, we felt comfortable and relaxed ordering and enjoying our meals. Now about the restaurant;DiFabio's is a very unique/one-stop restaurant. It's a bakery, sports bar, private, or party for multiple guests. With inside-outside dining. The Italian menu is delicious, and the customer service is top-notch!!!We had returned two more times since then and on one of these visits, we had celebrated a birthday (party of 12)and a fathers day dinner(party of 6).If there was any recommendations I would share/recommend, it would be the main entrance into DiFabio's needs to be clear. Because it could be confusing depending on where you park.Other than this minor issue, I would recommend DiFabio's to every one of my friends& family.

Food is delicious! Calamari was flavorful, crispy and melted in my mouth! Tortellini dish with shrimp and grappa sauce was amazing! Good size portions and well-seasoned. Our waiter was knowledgeable, and the busboy was quick, neat and efficient.Special shout out to Domenic, the waiter for private parties. He's a sweetheart and a very hard worker!I'm definitely coming back again! ?

I can’t believe that in all my trips to Philly I had not discovered this place. The food is fenomenal, generous servings, friendly staff. We had the DiFabio’s Mozzarella, Tino Tortelloni, Penne a la Vodka, Pistachio Chicken and Old Bay fries. Took home a bag of uncooked Pappardelle from their cute Italian Market & Tap little shoppe (prepped food, cheeses, dips, sauces. I’m going back in a few weeks. Thanks, Alexa, for your excellent recommendations ?

Was hoping to give them a five star review since the last time my family dined it was great a couple of months ago with a server by the name of Susan. This time we asked for her but she wasn't available. At that moment we should have walked out, never imagined how bad it would be. I'm wondering if their was new management because it seemed like a completely different place.

I was pleasantly surprised. Italian is same-old, same-old, but I was able to find a few things on their menu that were new and different. The Lemon Ricotta Pasta, 9th St Chicken, and some Brussels sprouts appetizer with brisket were all great and unusual. And we did takeout, so it wasn't exactly hot and fresh and it was still great.

I can't say enough about this place. I've lived nearby for a year now and it's still my favorite restaurant I've been to. It's casual but upscale, they have Italian classics but also other foods. And they have a taproom attached as well as home baked goods and they sell wine/alcohol. It's an amazing business concept and the quality is really outstanding

I usually love this place but unfortunately our last visit was a little disappointing. They are short staffed so I understand, but you shouldn't seat all your tables if you cannot accommodate those numbers. Our food was cold and they took it back to heat but my uncle's was still cold. Overall great place, nice people and usually great food.

We called ahead, they said to come in that it would be a twenty minute wait, so we thought "okay we are starving if we go anywhere else we'll have to wait that and maybe more on a Saturday night " so we attempted to go inside , it had multiple entrances which was confusing, but whatever we figured it out ,got inside put our names on the list and waited the twenty minutes...nothing watching others being sat we went up to the hostess, and was ton another 10-15 minutes...meanwhile more people were seated; we were given a seat by an amazing bar waitress who it turned we should have just listened to her when she told us that side was the best side...God was she right!!But I had my heart set on being seated on the restaurant side,so up to the hostess booth I went to inquire yet again, to which I felt as though our patience was about to be rewarded! We were going to be next !!We let our table top go on the barside...gasp, and went to wait anxiously for our table and ...another were sat in our place!!! We watched in disbelief as the male host "bro-hugged" the patron who took our table!!!We are not the hold our tongue and take it type so " we" ( Rich) went to ask about it ...long story short (end) they FINALLY sat us a! They sucked up to us by comping our appetizer. But...The tortellini that I ordered was undercooked. The other meal was good(ish)...Our advice...sit at the bar...and don't order the tortellini!

Beautiful place - friendly workers, our server was AMAZING ??✨✨✨ even the young fellas that brought out our food - good is fresh, and excellent. 10 out of 10
