I have to share….we have used Apollo pizza since we moved into Media 30 years ago. We moved out of the area 3 years ago and any time we pass we make sure to stop. I had company last night and my daughter said she would stop and pick it up. I was so embarrassed…..it was burnt (see photos)! I called last night there were closed by the time company left. This morning I called and I received an apology…..he said it was unacceptable….offered ‘next time I’m in, we can make you two pizzas’ but again, I don’t live close, he never took my name so I don’t know why they would honor that. I was hoping for a refund since the pizza has gone in the trash!
When I first walked threw the door it looked FABULOUS I later recognized a beautiful girl with majestic hair behind the counter. And everything was going well until a man wearing an Apollo pizza shirt looked at me with a really dirty look because I feel like I was intimidating him not to brag or nothing but I hit the gym quite often. Anyway this man had a bit of a bald spot very sweaty and smelly with what appeared to be a somewhat full water bottle of which he kept drinking while making the pizza, I guess he felt intimidated and proceeded to completely ruin my pizza and day, I thought I recognized him from somewhere…? Please take this review in account and teach your employees some respect and Teach them how not to burn a pizza.
grew up in media apollo pizza was my favorite place to eat, i moved down south and just got back in town to visit family. my first stop was apollo, to grab a cheese pizza, it has horrible, not sure what happened to this place. my family and friends warned me its not the same place anymore, and they were right, it is a shame. hopefully they get back to having the best pizzas in delco
Good pizza, but damn is it greasy. Get the bounty paper towels ready.
Pizza was horrible , what happened to this place. They had the best pizza back in the day
Haven’t had Apollo in awhile, just got 2 plain pizzas and there absolutely amazing
God that is some terrible pizza. Like frozen Ellios. I've had some bad pizza in my day, and that is in the top 5 worst.
Guys are friendly, and the food is fantastic---just as I remember when the original owners had it...about 20? years ago.
They use to have the best pizza, what happened, keep trying it and praying it’s going to get better, they must be using cheaper ingredients, I’m officially done, it a shame this was my favorite place in media
ApolloI'm getting married Saturday and all I wanted was a piece of pizza to relax and enjoy during these final busy planning days. I had the best slice at your pizza place. ? thank you! It was delicious.
