Bright open modern layout . Good taste, mild flavor which could be a good thing, since mostly Indian cuisines heavy on spices. Mango salad is very unique. A little shy on the meat portion, almost like an appetizer. Very fast service.
Very good food and ambience. Each curry has a unique flavor and served piping hot! The garlic nans were also good and had expected garlicky taste. The Aloo tikkis were to die for... I visited them twice in a 3 day trip and guess will return again..
this was easily some of the best take out I've gotten in this area, thank you! and the portions are super generous. I will gladly be eating these leftovers for every meal until they're gone
Ordered chicken tikka masala, 2 pieces of naan, and samosas. Tastes good but I bet there isn’t even a full chicken breast- even with the extra chicken I paid for- mostly sauce. Good thing I have frozen chicken in my truck fridge and can cook it to use up the sauce. The naan is thin and not as soft as it should be. Not impressed and was looking for a good meal after a long day! Never again!
You definitely need to stop and check this place out. Locally owned and operated. They've got a great selection of food, great service, fair prices, and nice atmosphere. Great place for lunch or a nice casual experience. They have a good selection of tasty home made desserts too! RECOMMEND
Enjoyed our family meal. Service is quick. Staff courteous and friendly!Updated 3.11.22: We ordered takeout for dinner. Portions are good. Our order contained goan vindaloo with chicken, rice and Xtra veggies, Spinach masala with paneer, rice & Xtra veggies, 2 samosas, 2 Naan and Mango Lassi and our total was about ~42. I think it's a pretty good value considering we had leftovers. Be ready for a burst of explosion in your mouth. Their food packs a lot of heat? and flavor. TIP: get yogurt on the side to help with heat.We still love Tikka Shack!
AIt's really nice to have a casual place to get Indian food. While I generally am a Chicken Tikka Masala lover, here I prefer their Butter Chicken. However, quite often if I don't want a whole sit-down meal, I get an order of Samosas to-go. They are great alternative to regular fast food. So yummy!
We went there for lunch not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Chaat, Kabab Bowl, Chicken 65 and Naan. Everything was great. We had some questions and the ppl were very friendly and helpful. If you are in the area, give them a try.
Fantastic food! My first time trying Indian food and I’m hooked! Get some!
My mom and I have been here twice, and this recent trip was really disappointing. We recently moved and this is one of the closest Indian places, but I don’t think we’ll be coming back. I am hoping that it was just a bad day, but, for the price, you would expect higher quality. The naan was 1.25 and very small and their chocolate cake’s peanut butter frosting immediately started melting and tasted off. It’s $5 for 2 Samosas and they didn’t even give us the chutney for it or the vegetable cutlets. The Southern Curry was the same consistency as water and they put a few green beans and chunks of carrots in it. It has no flavor other than a spicy aftertaste, but there’s nothing coconut about it. The butter masala was a lot thicker but they only put 3 pieces of chicken in it. The customers who ate in the restaurant all seemed to have good food, but there’s a serious issue in quality when it comes to take-out.
