Wife & I visited for the first time after being at the nursery next door. Bartender was very nice and friendly, food was good - thank goodness there were options for sides other than french fries. I had fish taco and wife had crab cake sandwich. Both meals were good and had large portions. Good selection of beers on tap. Wine menu was limited to Barefoot Cellars. Could do with a proper wine list. The restaurant has recently changed hands, so hopefully improvements are on the way. Will definitely revisit.
We knew the restaurant had been sold and hesitant to try with new owners. We were able to make reservations for an off time on Father's Day on the patio. It was a beautiful day and we found the menu to be very similar, if not the same as the owners before. If you had a good experience in the past, nothing has changed with menu items. We both ordered the fish and chips. My husband ordered the side salad and it was ok. The primary ingredient was iceberg lettuce and not our favorite. Most restaurants have changed to Spring mix or something similar. We should have asked and know not to order salad in the future. We both had the fish and chips. It was served with a more vinegar based coleslaw and something we both prefer to heavy mayo. It was a large portion of fish, with a lot of breading and not drained after coming from the fryer. Our plates had puddles of oil. The server, Sara was friendly and efficient. We would return again, but order something else.
1st time visiting. Waitress was quite helpful by explaining some of the items. No waiting in line and service was average time. Everyone in our party was very pleased with their order and several asked for boxes to take some of their food home.We will definitely be back.
Waitress was great!! Pacific nachos were excellent. Kickin' crab chowder good, Chicken chesapeake and crab poor, Steak and pasta Romano good, Key largo chicken and shrimp good, Bourbon Street burger poor, Cesar salad had tomatoes but was good, Seventh heaven dessert great. Overall, great portions but food quality was very average and somewhat disappointing. Great service and attention from Ashley B.
Good, not great. Waited for about 20 minutes to sit outside, nothing too crazy. Server was very solid. Food was absolutely nothing special. Burger was tasty but unspectacular. Flank steak tacos were bland at best. We will likely be back because of the lack of similar options in the area, but it's nothing to write home about.
Food never disappoints! I think our waitress was Hannah she was excellent waitress! I ordered something different. It was the chicken and shrimp loco I think. Great family atmosphere. Great memories were made! Thanks for the great time.
Order Nantucket salad, dressing on side and extra dressing, crispy chicken on side. First I noticed no roll anymore disappointing, then no plastic ware, I couldn't even eat! I was at work starving! And no extra dressing! Girl on phone was very nice saying yes
We went Valentines Day weekend and our server was Ben. The food was very good and the drinks had a fair amount of alcohol in them. Ben was attentive, but annoying. He offered his suggestions for us and both were right on. Would definitely eat here again!
Honestly I can't get enough of this place. I've always had good service and good food. It's typically American food, but there are some special things to kick it up a notch. Only wish is that rhino fries came with more sauce. We will be back...many times. Only complaint is the location is pretty far out there, but worth it.
They have a large bar with a pretty good beer selection. The outside area is probably nice in the warmer months but we visited in February. The food was just ok, TBH. Crab cakes seem really full of filling but they were ok tasting. The rhino fries are large but felt they lacked flavor. French onion soup was ok, but again, lacked a bit of flavor. Wife liked her drink and the waitress was nice. Doubt we'll return to eat as the food just wasn't good enough. Would if I was looking for a bar to sit for a few.
