We stopped at the diner for some breakfast and were very pleased with the outstanding service and good food. The portions were above average and they had great coffee. The waitress was very friendly and checked on us constantly. However, the owner we assumed at the cashier's booth was happy to our money but wasn't friendly at all. This Diner is just a few minutes off the interstate but worth the trip. On the way down I-81, we will stop in there again.
I used to love going here for good food, but sadly it has changed hands and no matter how many times you talk to the owner the food gets only worse.Yesterday I watched 4 people send their food back .I love the servers in there but it’s not worth it to have to sit through burnt potatoes and food with no taste.if only the new owner was there more often and stop making changes to the menu maybe he could save this sinking ship.so sad to see this good restaurant go down in flames. It used to always be busy but not anymore.
I ordered a turkey entree, with gravy on side. Got it covered in gravy, so I asked to fix it. Get back turkey lunch meat over dressing soup. They just scooped the gravy off the plate, got the cheapest turkey and threw it back out, I'm assuming.becuase I complained. The waitress recoiled when I showed the plate. Then the manager went on to ignore me. Literally ignored me and walked away. Yeah GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IGNORE YOUR CUSTOMERS. This used to be a great place, bur it's gone down hill, try one of the many other diners I. Thw area, there are 4 just 3 minutes away
Always great service, great prices. Very, very timely, both in being seated and being served. I’ve, many times, had about 10 people come for an after-work dinner around 10:00 PM, I always call ahead, of course, but they’ve never made a fuss and it still didn’t affect their timelines or service. Unfortunately, a coworker once brought her husband, who I didn’t realize was “old-fashioned” in his treatment of food service employees. He complained about such trivial and, quite frankly, stupid, “issues” with the food; the “issue” being that their thanksgiving menu didn’t say anything about having stuffing, which he didn’t not-like anyways. He had them markdown his order and he didn’t tip, which the employees didn’t make fuss about either, and the rest of our group made sure to compensate our tips for his lack of decency. I always come here with my mum as well, and apparently she used to come here with her mister as well, but that’s irrelevant, it’s sort of our place, and we’ve always had the best waitresses, especially the one, I unfortunately can’t remember her name, who looks like Pamela Adlon. I do, however, miss their 24 hour openness, but that’s not their fault, COVID-19 has changed much.
Very good food. I normally get the waffle and it is excellent. They’re also vary fast. I normally sit at the counter, and all of the staff is very nice and you never have to wait long for anything.
Excellent diner. Wide variety of menu selections. We had fish dishes and they were very good with generous portions. Of note also are the dessert cakes. Really indulgent.

Food was ok, waitress was ok, prices were crazy high. Asked for 2 slices of red velvet cake to go and got home to find 2 slices of baklava instead, and paid 12 bucks for them.
Diner was not busy. Waitress took a long time getting to us as she was busy chatting with other workers. Finally took our order. Screwed it up. Brought reg toast instead of rye, only one order of regular toast which should have been 2 since two orders of 2 eggs and toast were ordered. Chocolate milk was not brought that was ordered. Waitress NEVER bothered to check back after dropping off food. She again went over and chatted with other workers. We could not get her attention so ate meal as it was given. Finally flagged her down when I had but 2 bites left and asked her about the choc milk. She did not apologize, said she'd get it. It was another 5 minutes before she brought it for me to drink after my meal. This was one of the worst watresses I have had in a long, long time. She was a heavy set black female so if you get stuck with her I'd ask for a different server. There are plenty of other diners in this area now. I'm crossing this one off my list.
A very nice find in Mechanicsburg. The food is delicious, the prices are really good and the service is great. We travel this way often and will definitely stop here again. I had the broiled crab cakes and my husband had the flounder. We both really enjoyed our meals. Such a nice variety on the menu. Can’t wait to come back and try something else. Very clean as well.
