I had a fundraiser at the Rita’s in Mechanicsburg, Hampden Centre. The staff was so great and very accommodating to me since I wanted to stay the whole time (4:00-6:00). I was asked if I wanted a chair and it was brought out within 2 minutes. I was so thrilled with my first fundraiser at Rita’s and will definitely be doing another one. There Italian ice, frozen custard and waffle bowls are fabulous. This year was the first time I have ever been to Rita’s and I absolutely love it.
Hit this place on a BUSY Saturday. (93 degrees out...) I saw the line and told the Kids we could try again later- but they did the sad puppy eyes thing, and I took them in. All I can say is that the crew at this Rita's got through a line of 20 people in about 8 minutes. The teamwork impressed me enough to write this review. This place is clearly run well, and had a great staff who were properly trained. We had a great experience there. (Oh- and the food was great too.) I will be taking my Family back soon.
First time going to a Rita's that is indoors. Very clean space. No indoor seating but they do have tables and benches right outside with umbrellas for you to sit an enjoy your dessert of choice. I always go for a gelati and my wife is a huge fan of their brownie sundae.Prices are pretty standard and fair and didnt seem over the top.Staff was very helpful and polite and courteous and definitely will become my go to Rita's going forward.
The people working here forget and make lots of mistakes and this Rita's has been here for a while. Overcharging, putting custard in a cup instead of a cone. Custard is good and manager is nice, but employees need more training. Pretty expensive as well.
Was there tonight with my boyfriend. Order large dish and it was literally at the half point. The kid said its a large trust me. It shrinks down. Charged us for larges. The kids working there have no idea what they're doing. The line was backed up while they stood at the counter not even asking people what they want. 2 people out of 4 waiting on customers.Go to Leymone Rita's. They fill their stuff to the top!!!!! And their customer service is hands down much much better.
THESE ARE SOME OF THE BEST PEOPLE IN THE AREA. THEY JUST WANT TO MAKE YOU HAPPY. GIVE SMALL BUSINESSES A BREAK FOR A CHANGE...BE NICE. WE ALL BENEFIT.I enjoy coming here because my dear wife loves their Mango Mistos. I like the employees because they are so friendly. Kim, the manager, is doing a great job and cares about everything. I really believe she will make this store great. I get excellent service, every-time, from all of the employees. Some of them are still learning, but please give them time. Everyone’s motivated and they care about the customer. There is such great energy in here and I believe we all are beneficiaries. No business is perfect, but this Rita’s is trying very hard. I love to see a new business come alive. We are fortunate to have this beautiful store on the Pike and we all know it. Thank you and let’s help them grow. Be good to yourselves, your families, and to Rita’s of Mechanicsburg. We are blessed to have them. ❤️❤️.
Ordered a Italian ice got charged a gelati
I would highly recommend stopping in for your frozen treats! They are delicious and the service is incredible. The owner goes out of his way to be helpful, kind and goes the extra mile for his customers. Great Italian ice and great experience

This new Mechanicsburg location just opened and was SO clean and cute inside. They have 2 picnic tables outside--no outside window like others in the area. The service was really friendly and quick! My dog loved her puppy cup, we will definitely be back.
