Wonderful food! Very clean and super friendly staff. The owner came to every table to make sure the guests were happy. We loved this place! Highly recommend dessert!
Every time we stop in it’s wonderful. We love the food, the atmosphere, and the service. Recently our last visit was made extra special because of the wonderful server. Her name we discovered is Dora, just like Dora the Explorer. She was full of personality and everything you want in a server at a restaurant. She really look extra care of us, and invited us back very friendly as if we knew each other already. It was our choice to go there for Father’s Day dinner which ended up being perfect. It was a great experience I would highly recommend to others.
Food is good and the staff are friendly. The owner is always there and you can see that he takes great care of the place. We are regular customers!
Clean, open, brightly lit. We were sat quickly right around lunch time on Thursday. Our drinks were brought quickly and we both ordered the Hampden Special Breakfast. It didn't take long at all. I don't know how they cook the eggs (I got mine scrambled) but they were excellent. Not gooey, not burnt, just right. Friendly service. I can't wait to try it again.
Very clean, nicely decorated. The service was the best ever everyone was super friendly, our waiter was excellent! We ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and cheeseburger with ff, generous portions and reasonably priced. I believe we found our go to restaurant when in the area. I have to say it's rare to find a place that genuinely cares and that is priceless.
Very Clean restaurant, bright and comfortable ace to eat. I only had 2 (shared)cheese sticks and a full size Cezar salad.... others had burger and fries and seemed very please. You can't really mess up a Cesar salad but it was a very enjoyable lunch! I'd definitely go back to try other items on the menu...???
I ate dinner at the Hampton Diner today....I ordered the $15 Sirloin steak dinner with mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, a cup of seafood bisque, and dinner rolls. The steak was not bad but the rest of the meal was lousy. When I went to pay the cashier for my bill he ask me how my meal was and I told him the steak itself was fine but the rest of my meal sucked, the rocks were hard as a rock, the potatoes were ice cold, and the seafood bisque had no signs of any seafood whatsoever to which he said "sorry" and proceeded to charge me full price for my meal....no comp, no discount, nothing....needless to say I've spent my last dollar there....sad.
Food was good, reasonably priced, came out hot and quickly. Seemed to be well staffed and everyone from hostess to wait staff were nice. Diner itself seemed to be very clean and bright. Definitely go back.
Pretty decent diner.The service was good.The coffee was good.The food was simpler but ok. Very standard fare for a diner.My wife ordered baked oatmeal with whole milk, which was quite good. She also ordered fried corn beef hash and home fries which were pretty good as well.I ordered scrapple in order to try it. I am not sure how it is supposed to taste, but it was decent with hot sauce. I feel that it could be good with eggs or possibly on a sandwich.However, I also ordered the eggs Benedict (pictured) and home fries. The home fries were good, even though I am used to eating home fries with onions and peppers.However, the Eggs Benedict was pretty bad. The eggs were cold, and the Hollandaise sauce had a vinegar like flavor. I could only eat half. However, to be fair, a dish like Eggs Benedict may be the wrong thing to order in a small town diner for multiple reasons.I plan to go again, and order something like pancakes or waffles with eggs to see if that is a better test.
First visit. Had the Mediterranean Omlet The service was good, very nice young guy. After a few bites and in agreement with my friend, I sent the food back. Hash browns had a strange flavor as did the omlet. I ordered baked oatmeal which was fair and I took along most of it. There was no offer to replace or remove from my bill. I was told the manager was not available. About 1 hour after I ate, I got very nauseous.Positive note- very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Good service.There are too many good diners in the area including Metro.Not a do again.
