This place has some fantastic burgers. What’s good is rarely cheap and I never get out of here for under $30 for two people. That typically includes 2 huge 2 patty burgers with pulled pork toppings fries on the side for each burger plus an order of onion rings. Only complaint is that specialty burgers only come as 2 patty burgers which is just too much food. I would only eat half the burger but it’s too good not to so buy some pepto before you pick up your order
Went there with family and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. We each got different meals and we all left satisfied! I personally had the Cheesesteak and it was done perfectly, as were the fries. I also got a milkshake and it was rich and very sweet. Staff was very kind and prompt, which made the meal all the more enjoyable. Will definitely be back!!
This was my first visit to Dad's, but it will not be the last. I have heard of and seen the place since it opened, but never stopped in. Today that changed. My wife, daughter, and I all got burgers and no one was dissatisfied. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.
100 out of 10 one of the best burger place ever. Just order the Naughty Burger and Downtown Burger, nothing but mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! We can’t get enough of this place.
This place literally felt like home. The patrons were just as lovely as the staff. The food is homestyle deliciousness. I was only stopping through town and decided on a bite. My first time visit was nice. Parking is a little tight but you can park in the lot right on the other side of the (ally) street. The lines are narrow there too but there are more spaces
Was driving through town and was craving a burger. Google said this was a popular spot. From the outside it’s not much but what a great find! The server was terrific and the food was amazing. I ordered the Meltdown patty melt burger and it loved it. The fries were delicious. A nice little dive style spot. If I’m ever back in the area again I’ll be sure to stop by.
We stopped on the way from NY to VA & when on the highway I saw the aesthetic, we had to go (I have a car loving boy and my father with me) - food was great! My dad had the dads burger and said it was excellent. We shared some special fries and Texan chicken which was pretty good. All ingredients were fresh. I had the Philly cheese which was delicious and you could tell everything was brought fresh off the grill without having it sit under lights while waiting for other dishes to finish. My son hadn’t been feeling well for the last few days so he had breakfast which he said was good too, even though he couldn’t eat a lot of it. The decor is cool, my son really loved that part. Overall, definitely a place I would stop again when making this kind of trip. :)
I just tried out this hidden gem of a diner recently-had a delicious double cheeseburger plain-the way I like it-with fries, which seemed freshly made. All delicious and the garage setting-with all the signs and auto memorabilia, are a neat touch to this diner. I need to try their fried chicken one of these days!
First time and will go back. Tried the Naughty Burger with PB on it…. Was nervous, but turned out to be very good. Fries were good if you’re not as big of a steak fry fan.
Our waitress was okay but unfortunately the food was not. Our french fries came to the table cold. There was a long black hair cooked into my downtown burger. Our waitress did have the kitchen remake it. The side salad arrived with a moldy tomato in it. We were very excited but probably will not return.
