Thank You to ever who paid for my dinner it’s greatly appreciated
Don't bother! The appeal of the kitch has worn off. After a half hour wait, while the staff is joking around and there are tons of empty tables, we're seated. That brings us to another 15 minutes while waitresses walk by. We finally, order and get some drinks. The food comes relatively quickly but the little follow ups we ask for don't from the poor excuse for a waitress.
Great service, friendliest one I've been too. Great food and price. Our Great Dane also approves of the kid meals.
Cracker Barrel is always a treat, and a family tradition when we travel. I have never had a bad meal there and this visit was no exception. The food was delicious and the staff was professional, efficient, and friendly. Also, in the "Things I didn't know I needed" category there was a "Turtle in a Truck" glitter globe in the store. I'm pretty sure you won't find such a thing anywhere else!Always a good time, and I will be going back soon.
I've eaten at this cracker barrel before and the food is good as usual, but we arrived at 9:45am to get breakfast. There were customers everywhere waiting to be seated with a 30-45 min wait. We didn't have the time to send there and wait 45 mins for a table of three.
Dined in around 5pm on Sunday, March 13. Was seated within 20 seconds of walking in the door. Drink orders were taken within a minute of sitting down, drinks were brought out quickly, and kept topped off. Food was brought out when ready, everything hot and fresh. Biscuits were made correctly, cooked to a perfect golden brown. The service was awesome. Adam, you rock.
While it is difficult to get to the restaurant, it was worth the 3 attempts using Google maps. More and larger directional signage is needed as you come through a shopping center entrance and down a dark side street. Service was excellent and the catfish was hot and tasty. Above average for a food chain. Place was busy for 8pm.
Eating here is very much akin to playing Russian Roulette. Management doesn't do so well managing a kitchen, so more often than not the frozen chicken gets thawed at room temperature next to the dry storage. Sometimes it gets put away before it reaches a critical temperature, sometimes. Think you'll play it safe and just get a fruit cup? Rather than throwing away an entire quart of strawberries after finding mold on one, management forces employees to "pick out the good ones". I guess employees are provided microscopes and training to identify good fruit that has been in a container with bad fruit. Overall cleanliness of this kitchen is on par with the insides of a single porta-potty on a work site with 100 men on a steady diet of bean burritos. Pick a surface and look closely enough, there is visible mold throughout the kitchen. The 2 root causes of the problems in this store involve poor management who refuse to fire slackers, and grossly overweight career cooks who are too lazy to clean up after themselves. Having seen how the Mechanicsburg PA store is run from the inside, I WILL NEVER EAT AT ANOTHER CRACKER BARREL ANYWHERE.
First time eating breakfast, usely eat dinner Was great ! Was short staff so it took awhile.
The food was what I expected. The server we had was great, and the place was clean.
