The food was tasty and the people were nice. The space felt a bit crowded and in process. We sat in the corner, and there were decorations and boxes behind our booth that made me feel a bit crowded. Also, the fish tank has 2 big ratchet straps around it. I'm not sure if that's what's holding it together...
I've been here a bunch of times. Food's basically always great, even if it's a bit pricey (plus the portions usually make up for it). I would especially recommend the curries. My personal favorite is the Massaman; it's packed with flavor! And peanuts!
Enjoyed the food at this restaurant. I rarely take home food from a dinner, but the portion was large here. Ordered some appetizers and entrees and it was a LOT of food. Everything was good, and the service was good. The atmosphere is not the nicest. Could certainly be nicer, but if you're going for good food and good service, the atmosphere can fade into the background.
Literally the best Asian food I have ever had in my life. I try to come here for every special event. Their fried rice is enough to feed a grown man at least 2 full meals.
Don't be fooled by the strip mall frontage: the food is tasty and the service is very competent and congenial. They also have delicious mee krob/mi krop/mee kob (it's called mee kob on their menu), which is pretty hard to find in a Thai place these days. Nice atmosphere, clean place. Unfortunately like a lot of places with all the logistical issues right now they have a bunch of cardboard boxes stacked up and it looks kind of disheveled, but I can hardly blame them with my three whole cases of Costco toilet paper in the living room.
Let me start this review by saying the food is delicious - I am fired up on pricing and the nickel and diming.First of all their prices are high, but I always thought the food was worth it. Tonight I ordered online because that’s what the restaurant preferred (per the website).I had selected “pick up ASAP” and for whatever reason it defaulted to tomorrow at 12:50 PM. I called and ask them to please move it up to today. Music was very loud when I called - had to shout into the phone for them to hear me, but nonetheless, was able to get it switched to my intended date and time. Fabulous, much appreciated, excited for a delicious pricy but in my mind at the time worth the price tag dinner. There is $1.50 service fee because I ordered online, per their preference. I always tip, even on pick up orders, around 10%. All I’m around $7 in additional fees for my order.I requested that mushrooms be substituted for broccoli in the dish. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was informed I owed $3.15 for the broccoli. Maybe I’m cheap or hangry, but I wasn’t aware the going rate to substitute a vegetable for another was $3.15. Furthermore, broccoli is actually CHEAPER than mushrooms which just adds gasoline on this Karen fire.I understand inflation is ridiculous, restaurants have been under a lot of stress, but for the love of god $3.15 to substitute a vegetable?! Call me petty but this will definitely be the last time I pay to eat here again.Sincerely - Petty Hangry Karen who prefers broccoli over mushrooms.
Ordered pad thai with extra veggies. It was delicious albeit too greasy for me (I haven't had Thai food often so not sure if this is the norm). Also, thought it was lacking in veggies despite requesting extra veggies. Portion sizes are surprisingly large.
every thing. Foodservice great. reat.
This restaurant continues to be one of the best places for curry and fried rice in Central Pennsylvania. We have ordered almost every curry on the menu and each one is creative and unique. Highly recommend the butternut squash curry, the masaman curry, the peanut curry, and the mango curry. The pineapple fried rice is also outstanding. If you get curry for takeout, the curry only gets better with time - we also recommend asking for extra vegetables. This is an outstanding restaurant.
If I could leave a negative number for this "place", I wouldn't even call it a restaurant, I would. There just is no service, plain and simple. There was one woman there who refused to seat my handicapped mother and I and then proceeded to chat on the phone and tell us we'll have to wait. Obviously we left. We generally avoid this place but were stuck one afternoon. To be very honest, the food is not good, we've eaten there before also with service issues, the restaurant looks dirty and the people who run it have no care for the customers. Plus it is outrageously overpriced. It was depressing and disgusting. On a human level and eating (known from past experience.) Fully regret going there even when being stuck one day. Highly recommend staying far away and if you're stuck, go to McDonald's instead, it'll be better!
