The food is good, nice portions but it took nearly an hour to get our breakfast after ordering. The gentleman next to us ( at the window seats) was sitting and waiting longer didn't finish eating. He said his back & butt hurt from sitting so long ate some and got to go box.
I have been consistently visiting Maryanne's Homestyle Cooking for breakfast & lunch since they moved to their current location. Although the staff have changed over time, the interior has been modified, the one consistent thread throughout is the quality of the food they produce. It is hard to pick what they specialize in when it comes to breakfast as it is always good. They utilize high quality ingredients and it is always fresh and hot.The omelets, almost all of which are named after local streets in Levittown, are large and generous portions usually served with home fries. I recommend the meat lovers or Italian omelet. The southern fried chicken with the white sausage gravy is some of the best southern style food you can get above the Mason-Dixon currently. For fans of scrapple though, I do recommend the thin cut style. It has a nice crispy exterior with soft interior that is scrumptious. Finally, for those that are unsure, there are daily specials where you can get a variety of great and classic breakfast foods to eat. When it comes to lunch, it's hard to beat their homemade soups. I especially recommend getting the Italian Wedding soup, as it's phenomenal. It is served piping hot with tons of flavor. The Meatballs are generous in portion and combine a slight sweet and savory flavor.Lastly, I would be amiss to mention the service. There is consistent dedication by the staff to make sure you have a great experience while here. Many times they have your refills before you even ask.I highly recommend getting there early as the later you wait, the longer the line gets to be seated. If you haven't tried Maryanne's, I highly recommend you come and give them a chance to wow you.
First time we tried here this morning. Nothing worse that cold scrambled eggs and burnt toast. Waitress said she would bring a fresh order of toast but never brought it! She wasn’t very hospitable anyway…
One of my favorite local places. Fresh food, good serving sizes, and reasonable prices. Service has always been wonderful, but Casey is the best!
Our first time and it was Tremendous spot... Homestyle feel DeeeLish Breakfast with polite staff we will be back ???☕☕☕⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Maryanne’s never disappoints! The cooks throw down in the kitchen. Some of the best sausage gravy you’ll ever have. Fluffy huge omelettes perfect deep fried cubed potatoes and all super fresh and great quality. We stopped in during a very busy Sunday and the front of house staff were hustling making things happen while the kitchen kept putting out incredible food. Order yourself a side of biscuits or two!
I went to Maryanne's for the first time on Valentine's Day for breakfast. The wait was long and once we were seated we waited some more. When we finally received our food my Omelet wasn't completely cooked and I never received my side of bacon. The waitress was pleasant but obviously overwhelmed.
Lots of egg choices
Definitely not all it's cracked up to be. Burnt omelets, barely seasoned home fries. Most menu items have ridiculous combinations. The place that was there in that location before them was FAR superior!! Coffee was ok until the waitress decided to refill it before even asking!
It was not busy but took around a hour to get our meal. Food was good but more expensive then it should be. 4 people and we had one cheese omelet, a maryann and 2 chipped beefs, one coffee and one oj for 60. I had better for less. Place was clean so that was a plus...
