Hong Kong Pearl has always been more expensive than the Chinese restaurants in the area and and always thought the premium price was worth it. However prices keep going up, portions are becoming more skimpy with the Chicken/Beef/Shrimp dishes, also shrimps are now much smaller than in the past. 5 won tons in a quart of won ton soup.I understand inflation but raising pricing consistently and at the same time cutting back on portion size seems excessive to me. In my opinion the premium we pay at Hong Kong Pearl is no longer worth it. Simply put the food is still okay, but not so much more so than some of the other Chinese restaurants in the area to justify the price premium and portion control they have put in place recently.

Hong Kong pearl use to be the best place around. The food has down hill, the portions have gotten smaller, and the prices have gone up. The people are rude with no personality and the restaurant is filthy. The chandeliers in this place haven’t been cleaned since they opened. After the last 3 times of being disappointed and also hearing other people complain about the same things as my family…… we are done with Hong Kong pearl. Very disappointed.

We had Chinese food at Hong Kong Pearl last night! It was delicious! They need new fortune cookies. The fortune cookie said to “regenerate your system through diet and exercise and to save the cookies!” Lol they have got to be kidding! I do not want a lecture from my fortune cookie when I am eating take out!

Had high expectations becuase of all the awards they display and interactions with people that raved about it. Highly dissapointed. I ordered curry chicken and everything was coated with the curry powder. They did not allow the spice to mix in with the food and they put way too much in there. Also the rice was not fresh and undercooked. Please raise your standards.

The food is good, but the waiting time is insane. I placed my order at 5:38 pm, and I was told that it will be ready by 6:30pm. Right now it’s 7:23 and they just brought my order in. The line is huge. I understand it’s Friday night, but it’s way too long…

Food is not as good as it used to be. Shrimp & broccoli combo had very small shrimp in it. We also had shrimp egg foo young which was just ok....I was disappointed.

Ive never liked chinese food, started ordering from here years ago and still refuse to go anywhere else. Best chinese in the area, the staff is also very nice. I came up short one night and they allowed me to take my food and come in when i had the rest. I paid double what i owed and left a tip. Very thankful they’re right around the corner from me.

Food is good, but they always mess up the order. How hard is it to get the order correct? And we’re talking orders under $30 (just a couple things) and they manage to get it wrong time after time. I ask for a large white rice, i get a small white rice. Small chicken and broccoli, i get a large chicken and broccoli. Ask for eggroll and get no egg roll. Cmon man.

The food is always good. Since Covid they’ve switched exclusively to take out. During peak times the wait is exceedingly long and est wait times are not accurate (1.5 hours FYI). Order early, real early during peak days and times.
