Ambiance that used to be there, doesn't seem to be there anymore. Pricey.We were there after a very long day in heat almost of 100°, after the Celtic Fling in Mount Joy. We were dressed in our family tartan kilts, and felt as if they thought we were inferior.My fiance got "rolled corn" as part of the special. Would not have expected corn on the cob as part of a nice dinner, rolled in some spices, with no corn holders or any way to eat it except in your hands, as if at a picnic. When we asked for corn holders, they seemed surprised and said nobody ever asked for them before. We truly had no idea what rolled corn was, and since we picked it from the specials that were spoken at the table, we didn't ask. It was too hot for him to hold or stand on end to slice off on his plate. Very strange.Food was tasty, though.
This was our 1st time and we loved it. The staff was kind on top of things and amazing. The food was the best I have had in a very long time. The scallops were cooked perfectly I cannot remember the last time II have had them cooked so perfectly. Just just all around a great experience
First time back after the renovation it very nice. Had drinks at the bar nice. Was seated and service was very good. We first had wife Crab and corn soup she said it was very good me cobb salads, good. Wife had the Summer Vegetable Risotto she said everything seemed fresh but over the top with the cheese. I had the Seared Scallops. They seemed BURNT I would not get them again and was very disappointed. Next desert Wife had ice cream 3 dips, I had the waffle and ice cream still looking for the ice cream. So after thinking about don't think we will be returning any time soon.
You need to go! Tony's Mining Company has become a frequent stop for me. The food and drinks are always amazing and the servers are kind and well versed! Dean's Old Fashion & Danie's Beignet's are worth the trip alone. The GM is attentive and always looking for ways to improve the quality of service. Jen and Steven really have taken the time to curate a restaurant that honors the past of Tony's and Cornwall all while bringing a modern twist. You have to check it out!!
Tony's was a wonderful host for our group of 4 couples! Sarah at the hostess station greeted us with a welcoming smile. The cocktail list at the bar and the drinks were excellent, the private room they provided us was greatly appreciated, and the food was outstanding! Lauren, our server, was extremely attentive to our requests and needs, was very knowledgeable of the menu, and made our experience amazing! Brett was prompt with water and bread throughout the night. With the size of our group, we tried every appetizer and virtually every dessert and all were delicious! Highlights were the huge cocktail shrimp, mozzarella puffs, and oysters. Steaks, crab cakes, salmon, pork chop, and seafood etouffee were all incredible. Desserts and espresso martini's were the perfect finale to an amazing dining experience. Thank you to Chef Steve and your staff! We will be back!

Wonderful special occasion dinner from the immaculate decor to the personable and very helpful server, Melissa. Homemade bread (especially weekend selection) is to die for. Pace is upscale/relaxed. Salad and steak were excellent as was the grilled pork chop. Several gluten free entree selections.
Found this restaurant almost by accident but glad we did. Food and service were amazing. Great setting and comfortable, casual environment. Everyone enjoyed our meals and dessert!
Melissa was our server and was exceptional. She was very tentative, but not overbearing. She was fun and has great communication skills. The dining area is very dark. That dark that numerous guests had to use the flash light on there cell phone to read the menu. One of us had French onion soup and I had a wedge salad as appetizers. The soup was luke warm. My salad was very good. We both ordered steaks. I had a 16oz ribeye and the other had a filet. They were both cooked as ordered, but not of the quality we expected based on the price. They lacked the taste of an exceptional steak. The dessert was good. Not sure we will return anytime soon.
Deserving of a food award. The place was clean comfortable and secluded for intimate dinner. I enjoyed the service, the care they took in the place and last but not least the food was great. Definitely worth taking that special someone there.
