My friend and I stopped by today for lunch before noon and the experience was anything but pleasant. The meal wasn’t necessarily an issue, but the service was. I’ve been a server for 5 years and I get that it’s not enjoyable to wait on those who you have clashing personalities with, COVID restrictions (and it’s politics), conflicting issues/interests in your personal life, etc. But regardless of the specific situation, you’re there to make $$ and go home- period. I was kind, accommodating and tipped my server over 20%, even after being treated like trash for no reason. However, I did leave notes on the receipt because I didn’t condone the mistreatment. My server also made a huge unprofessional decision to share my private debit card info with another server. I knew this because I set my card down to pay for the bill and I saw this 2nd server sprint across the room to her co-worker (my server) to look at it. I have a soft spot for those in the industry who work with the general public, because it’s a tedious job. But, I don’t have a soft spot for people who expect handouts/20% + tips for doing the bare minimum and refuse to treat guests (let alone people) the way they’re supposed to be treated. Bitter attitudes are bad for business and that’s coming from someone with 8 years in the restaurant industry. Especially considering I worked for another Darden property within the last few years. It seems most of the Darden restaurants in the area have huge turnover, poor staff management/training and a lack of personal responsibility. It’s a shame because the reasons in which I left the company in Oct 2020 still remain the same.
Had the Porterhouse steak. Very good. Well seasoned and prepared to my liking. This past time i ordered Flo's filet. Again, can't go wrong. Everything was delicious.
Love their lunch specials. Always quick and great service. Today I ordered the soup and salad, onion and a ceaser. My friend order the 1/2 burger.
Girlfriend and I came here for dinner on a Friday night. Place was very busy but we were seated within 10 minutes. I got a medium ribeye steak with steamed broccoli and a loaded potato. The steak was absolutely delicious. She got a medium well filet and hers was perfect as well. It was a great experience all around would definitely come back here in the future if we are in the area again
I came in here on a Saturday night after a long day at work. I used the app to get my name on the waiting list, but when I got there my friend and I were able to sit at the bar with no wait. The food was absolutely fabulous. Every time I come to this location, it's top notch. I have 3 locations a few minutes closer than here, but this one shines above them. Great food and service, every time. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you.
We had excellent service for are very large group. In not a huge fan of the way they do there steaks but it was still very good and would eat at this location again.
Longhorn is always a good place to relax and enjoy your meal with a quiet and slow-paced atmosphere. This is one of my top 10 for date nights, as I love Ribeyes. My only main issue is (unlike Texas Roadhouse) they do not offer combos (also love ribs, shrimp and chicken). My steak was cooked perfectly inside and although like warm when it got to me, the flavor was wonderful and was not a major issue. The stuffed mushrooms were a highlight as well, with a perfect amount of melted cheese and sauce, which was almost fondue-like. Check out when time allows...
We visit PA often and came here expecting run of the mill chain restaurant food and service. Well, we couldn't be more wrong. We ordered filet's and burgers and everything was absolutely delicious!! Brussel sprouts were so good and the donut bites were even approved by our 7 yr old!! Nicky, our server was absolutely wonderful.. We will definitely come back next time we are in town!!
Everything was delicious. Our server was pleasant. Can't wait to be served again by Nicole. They made my favorite drink...a frozen white Russian.
I got longhorn for my birthday dinner and it was horrible. My steak tasted boiled and wasn't how I asked for it, but on top of that my own dog wouldn't eat it when I tried to give her some so I won't be coming here again?!!
