My wife and I just moved to Lebanon,PA recently and she has been wanting to go eat at the Gin Mill for awhile now. We decided to go out to eat there and wow!! What a great menu, atmosphere, service and overall fun environment. The menu options are amazing and tasty. The servers and owners were very attentive to our needs. I would recommend this place to everyone from Lancaster to Lebanon to come and visit. We WILL be back!!! Great job to everyone running the place. Thank you for a great experience.

Stopping in for dinner on a business trip and looking for a dinner place still open a little later, we found this absolute gem! The drinks menu was full of interesting choices, and the dinner menu was equally difficult to choose from! We both decided to pick from the daily specials. Both the burger with pulled pork and bacon on top and the grilled trout with wild mushroom risotto were to die for!
We were visiting the area and asked the hotel clerk where a good local restaurant was and she recommended this place. Super friendly staff. We got the smoked meat sampler which was delish and the cornbread was more like a dessert. Excellent and usually hate everyone’s cornbread but mine! ? Reasonably priced…worth it!
My husband and I frequently choose Gin Mill when we go out to eat. We enjoy the menu staples (fantastic pickle chips and love the burgers!!), seasonal specials, and friendly service. Parking is plentiful and free around the restaurant too, which is always a plus.
Very impressed! My husband and I stopped here while in the area on the way to a gig my husband's band was playing. We didn't have a lot of time to spare so we called ahead and put our name in. They seated us right away when we arrived. We were a little concerned it might take too long to get our food because they were BUSY and had a very large party to take care of. We asked our waitress if she thought the time frame we had would be good and she was confident it would work out and we could be out of there on time. She was right! She was very attentive and courteous. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. I definitely recommend their Gin Mill fries (BEST FRIES EVER!). I had their Kansas City Chicken Sandwich and my husband had the Jack Daniels Burger. We were both very happy with our meals. They also have Gluten Free buns which is definitely a plus for those who are intolerant. We were very happy with our experience and we plan on coming back even though we live about an hour away.
Visited here for the first time as a party of 4. We arrived ~1.5hr before closing and were seated immediately. We ordered the Lebanon fish bake, Budda bowl, and a cheese quesadilla for dinner. They were good, nothing overly impressive but good. We ordered the clam chowder thinking it wouldn't have meat but we were wrong, it was made with ham or bacon so we sent back the soup. We ordered the Joe Chocolate cake with peanut butter icing...they said it's made with coffee. It was firm, I'm guessing it was in the refrigerator before they brought it out to us. It was fine, certainly not our favorite dessert.
Nice place , new place to stop for lunch service is quick service was a pleasant. Waitress was on top of things . food was hot & very good. look forward to going back for another visit. Burger was awesome ? hard to pronounce. It had corned beef, whiskey sauerkraut,lots of other things.real Burger!!!
Atmosphere was nice, we went on a Friday night with a reservation and I'm glad we called ahead because it was pretty busy. Our server was extremely nice and good at her job. The wings were delicious, and so was the steak. (Weird to add, but best broccoli I've had at a restaurant in a long long time.)The prices were great, and the portion sizes were perfect. We even spent less than we normally do when we go out to eat.The only thing I wasn't pleased about was that they must have smoked the bacon they used in the brussel sprouts and loaded potato soup, and it was so strong all you could taste was the smoke. I couldn't eat the sprouts because the smoke was so strong but was able to eat the soup because it wasn't as bad.We will definitely be coming back again to try some more dishes!
