The baker was so kind and helpful! We were unsure what bread to try and he directed towards a delicious fresh rosemary and olive oil bread loaf! We also bought some chocolate chip cookies (delicious flavor and not too crunchy or too soft!) and a pan loaf of their rustic Italian bread. They even sliced it for us right there at the bakery and gave us tips to keep the bread fresh and last longer! Everything is/was wonderful in flavor and texture. Will definitely go back there to try out other things! :)Another positive: they have no preservative in their breads! All fresh and easy to read ingredients ?
Fantastic breads and pies. Quality ingredients. Margherita pizza is legit.
Amazing bread and the most delicious Margherita pizza ever. Seriously. It's gotta be witchcraft or something, because a few simple ingredients shouldn't be able to make a crust that good. You can buy them frozen to use at home, but I'll warn you ahead of time that it won't be as good as theirs. Better than any alternative, but still not like theirs.
Tried your brick oven pizza for the first time everything tasted very fresh it’s pricey but it’s worth it.If my pizza was cooked a little bit longer it would have been 5 stars but I will be back
very friendly. great bagel egg sandwich and coffee. loved it
I came to visit here on my way to work one day and I was not disappointed. The smell of fresh baked bread hits you as soon as you walk in the door. There is a mass variety of all types of different bread as soon as you walk in on the right on a shelf. While it’s a bakery, they also have bagels, sandwiches and brick oven pizza made from scratch. Let me tell you this is one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. A 16 inch margarita pizza was $20 but let me tell you it was well worth it. The crust was super crispy and it had the bubbles on the outside edges, which always tells you the quality of the pizza. You could still taste the flower at the bottom and it was everything I could’ve hoped for. The staff even gave me a complementary water and offered me red pepper chili flakes that they had in the back. The place only has one table so you might not be able to sit down and eat, but I cannot wait to come back.
The food looks good but there are very limited vegan options. Customer service was not kind when inquiring about options or accommodations. Needless to say- I never even made it in.*Be careful who you insult in Spanish- “una maldita persona” may be listening…
Delicious breads, sandwiches. Just wished they opened earlier so I could get something before work! :)
I can't say enough amazing things about Thom's Bread! My daughter and her team traveled from NY to play in a Volleyball tournament over the holiday weekend - i was already nervous of meals and the volume of players looking for food - and i always like to find local places for lunch orders when possible. Scouring the internet i found Thom's Bread! What a gem! Not only did Thom and his team work with me to place the order over the phone and via email, but they also helped me consolidate orders upon pick up into individual child's orders (so i didn't have to try to match up to my order sheet which kid ordered what...). it was SO EASY - price point right in line with anywhere else you might go - only Thom's customer service and genuinely kind demeanor made this a favorite for us. we ordered sandwiches for the girls, plus a dessert - The food was absolutely AMAZING! and plenty generous - the sandwiches were big, rice krispy treats were huge which meant the girls had leftovers for snacks after their last match - whey they were famished from playing VB! MANY parents ordered food on their way out of town back to NY on Monday because they and their daughters loved it so much! THANK YOU Thom and team for helping make our stay in Lancaster so enjoyable (and make for making a meal for 18 people so easy!!)
We have been to Thom's several times before. This time we went to try the pizza,it was excellent!
