At a recent convention we ate here 3 times in 4 days. Meals were inexpensive, service was for the most part good. Beer was reasonably priced. Manager on one day was pretty snippy(insert another word here), but the servers were very friendly. Didn't like the fact that you had to use your phone for menu, but if you asked you were reluctantly given a physical menu.
Our favorite bar/pub/restaurant in the area. This was rebuilt a couple of years ago after a fire gutted the entire interior - it is better than ever with restoration of an historic look. The servers are very friendly and service is very good. The food is excellent for bar/pub food, but be aware that the servings can be quite large. Because of the historic structure, handicapped entry is tricky - there is a side door that can be opened if no one is seated in front of it. I might add that the steps in front are very tricky even for fully able people, but DIPCo is worth the effort.
What a terrible place for food. I don’t know how this place has so much good reviews. The service was great don’t get me wrong. Very helpful waitress. It’s just unfortunate the food was beyond edible, we only took a few bites and left. The cheese burger I ordered was either undercooked or raw or just old. It tasted very off, and on top of that it was very bland. Even after adding hot sauce and ketchup, it still felt dry and gross.Same with my friends orders. None of us enjoyed our food. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experiences
The appetizers were terrific. We had the wings and the crab dip. The Italian Sub sandwich was ok. There were way too many onions on the sandwich. The service was ok.

My husband and I have been there twice and have loved our food. There are so many options. We can’t wait to go back and try more of the food. Helping size was great. Not too expensive. Great environment.
While attending a local college graduation over the weekend, we decided to check out some of the local shops in Lancaster city. We found this gem for lunch!! ( Lancaster Dispensing company tavern). I had the old world Reuben sandwich, with steak fries. The corn beef was a tender, excellent sandwich. Great atmosphere!! Sarah was the bartender and she was great, pleasant to talk with and very knowledgeable of the tavern. We will certainly go back to this wonderful tavern!!!
I enjoy the history and atmosphere of the building and and location. The menu is good and the drinks are reasonable. It's a spot that I am always willing to visit but it's not my first choice.but worth a trip if you haven't been there yet.
This is our very favorite restaurant, however due to a very large crowd this evening, we had to sit at the bar. It was nice at first. But our waitress/bartender was a bit rude to us and didn't even check on how our meals came out, offer more beverages, refills and did not offer dessert. We usually tip very well but didn't this time. The crowd had really dispersed by the time we had our meals so there was really no excuse for the bad service. We will continue to go back of course becasue we love it there but hoping for a better experience.
