Stopped by while having my car serviced at the Tesla dealer near by. Showed up right at 11am. Was seated quick, nice atmosphere, food was very good. Coconut rice was great! Will be back if local again.
Summary: All the favorite Thai dishes at decent prices! Their Thai ice tea is on point too. Great service, especially accommodating babies! My party was a group of 6 (4 adults and 2 babies). Our waitress was very accommodating to our families' needs, giving us a larger table, bringing us the high chairs, and bringing extra plates for the babies. Around the table, we ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Beef Drunken Noodles, the Brown curry, and the Chicken Pad Koriath. My Pad Thai was delicious and just how I expected it to be. We also ordered an appetizer of the battered calamari. That was pretty good. The portions were decent, maybe on the smaller side? I'm a 5ft Asian woman, about 110 lbs and I finished my Pad Thai and was satisfied so hopefully that serves as some comparison for you. We also ordered some Thai Ice teas and the Coconut smoothie. These were very good! There's parking both behind and in front of the restaurant, entrances both front and back. We visited on a Tuesday night so it wasn't very busy. I'd recommend them! We had a great time and loved the food.
Got take out for lunch and everything was just superb. I got the green curry and coconut soup. All flavors were so complex and very authentic. Got the mango sticky rice for dessert and I couldn’t stop eating it. I would give them 6 stars if I could! The staff was very friendly too. 3 of them checked on me while waiting for my order to be ready.
This is my New Favorite Thai Place! 4.5CUSTOMER SERVICESeemed to be as if everyone was in a rush. Even though the restaurant was not full.FOODWas amazing! The coconut milk soup, Tom Kha Soup, tasted like coconut. No fishy smell.Thai Spicy Sausage, wasn't that spicy but yummy.Mango salad with chicken was well balanced but missing something. I really can't put my taste buds on it but at the beginning seems like fish sauce or something in the plate had a very strong smell. But then the smell dissipated. And the taste came through.Fried Chicken was also yummy.SUMMARY:This place is worth the 2 hour drive I did. Some little details here and there and would definitely encourage the customer service to be a more inviting, not let the client feel hurried.!RETURN FACTOR? %RECOMMEND A FRIEND FACTOR? %
I just googled about thai places, this one is top on the list. So i gave a try.I ordered, thai ice tea, padthai, drunked noodlesThai ice tea: the best I tasted so farPadthai: It was well done and tasted good tooDrunked noodles: They could do better, the flavor is missing and the noodles were attached to each other. This is why i am giving 4 star. But one should give a try if you are a thai food fan.
Very good food. Definitely the best of all the Thai food places in the surrounding towns and cities we have tried to date over the last year and half. Was about to give up when we tried this one. The coconut soups we had were very good in flavor and thickness. A bit too much added large chunks of vegetables for my personal preference but it did not detract from the flavors. The fresh spring rolls were very sticky with thick wrapping and very good. Different than the standard thin rice wrappers that are semi clear you typically get every where. Possibly home made not store bought. I had the Me Krob which was very flavorful. Their portions are huge, enough to feed two people or take home for another meal. Had one of the better Thai iced teas I have had in years. Others at the table had papaya salads, green curries, Pad Thai, and Thai sausage which was very good. TheThai sausage was very good and had minimum spice level for heat. Close to authentic as I have had in the states. All the dishes were significantly dumbed down for heat levels which apparently most of their patrons historically prefer. Personally, I prefer some heat levels more akin to what you get in Thailand. So, expect little or no spice level unless you ask for it. I asked to spice up my Me Krob more and it still came out very tame. I guess these local patrons don't want real spice levels consistent with good Thai. It's a definite we will back scenario only asking for much hotter dishes more closely aligned with real Thai preferences. The only dish of many we tried that was actually spicy hot was the Hot and sour soup. The rest were all very mild. The coconut rice side we had was superb and very close to what you typically receive in Thailand. As they are clearly understaffed like so many mom and pop restaurants, don't be in hurry. The waiter was excellent but clearly stretched to handle so many tables by himself. So, relax, take your time and enjoy really good food. It's a BYOB place so have at it. I heartily recommend this place for both ambiance and food quality which is high. Very good value for the prices.
Nice fast service, fresh ingredients, but left expecting more.I had a weekend lunch pad Thai, but paid dinner price. For that price, I'd expect a larger serving.I ordered mine Thai hot, which has the spiciest they had, but it was really not that spicy. Others might have a different tolerance. I also was surprised that there was no Thai basil in the dish, minimal amount of chicken for the additional charge.Tastes good though. Sauce was flavored nicely.
probably my favorite lunch spot in Lancaster. I wish I could order ten of these crab wontons at a time!
I've been coming here for 10 years, and it is my favorite Lancaster restaurant. Lunch takeout is fast and convenient. Anytime I am sick, I always get their coconut soup. Mango salad, pad thia, yellow curry, and all of the appetizers are my favorites (besides my fav fav, coconut soup). The coconut rice is amazing, and the long rice that meals usually come with is perfect too. I've been here for many business lunches, service is fast. My friend with a violent shell fish allergy has never had an issue. They are BYOB, and have thia iced coffee and smoothies. The atmosphere is intimate and high end, but the prices are not high. ALSO, some holidays they are open, not all, but some.
Weekday dinner, only a few people. Our waitress, Sky, was very sweet and attentative to us. The food was amazing! Good flavor, texture and presentation. They allow you to choose several levels of spice from none to hot. Lovely atmosphere and fair prices. Wheelchair accessible. First time visit but will be back many more times.
