I really wanted to like it here. The mini golf course was fun, so my husband and I decided to grab a beer and nachos. We were told they were out, after also being told the first 2 beers we tried to order were also out. What we did order for food was average, but the cleanliness of the silverware and glassware was horrifying. Near the end of my beer, I saw a black film on my glass. I asked for another beer, and the bartender didn’t seem to care. At one point while we were eating, we witnessed the manager rifling through a garbage can, pull something out of it, and then proceed to pour herself a boozy slushie. After only 1 hour in there, I was tempted to call Jon Taffer.

This is our first time back since covid hit.. let me start off by saying that the live music was the highlight of the evening... 5 stars!!! As for the food, the short ribs, chicken club, glazed chicken were as dry as the Sahara. The Shepard’s pie was very greasy with no favor and the crab and corn chowder was luke warm at best with large clusters of mushy crab. The soup was sent back. The service was not any better, server was rude and had an attitude the entire time we were there, she checked on us once and when we asked what she would recommend, she shrugged her shoulders and informed us that the chef had been the at the Belvedere for 12 years and that everything is good. Not sure if the chef was having an off night, but this was by far the worst experience we have ever had at Stoner Grill. Not sure we will ever patronize this establishment again. Very disappointing:(
