The horchata was heavy on the cinnamon. The birria tacos were delicious, but eat with a fork because the tortillas are drenched. The tableside guacamole was obviously fresh and tasted great. The black beans were very well seasoned.

Excellent flavor and fast service! So fast that they took our food when I took my daughter to the bathroom in order to clear the table for the next guest. We got back and sat down with a puzzled look on our faces. The server had the manager come over. Our food was remade very quickly. He was super nice and very genuinely apologetic about the mixup.Good atmosphere, great food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food is always good and portions are large enough that you will take some home. The great thing about Mexican food is it tastes just as good cold at 2am.

First time stopping in at Plaza Azteca Mexican Restaurant. I was thoroughly impressed!! The service was friendly and expedient. I ordered the lunch fajitas, which were extremely tasty. The lunch portion was huge. The chips were plentiful, and the salsa wasn't hot at all. And make sure you order a margarita!!I highly recommend Plaza Azteca Mexican Restaurant!!
At least drinks were good. The food was terrible. I nicely asked the waitress if I could have a salad instead of rice and beans she said yes. What I got was literally a head of lettuce chopped up and thrown on my plate. No tomatoes no avocado no nothing. And chimichangas don’t look the way they did on my plate. And for the server not to address this matter in a better way just got me even more upset. So I literally had a moscato with chips and guacamole. Wonderful right?

Great food and great service
First time to this restaurant and can say I won't be going back any time soon. First impressions were favorable as the place was clean and comfortable. The menu had a lot to choose from although most of the dishes seemed expensive to me. Things went down hill from there. Service was S. L. .O. W. Margaritas were ordered with salt on the rim and came without. Then the refills were NOT the same type of drink as previous ones and had to be sent back. Of course , the waiter kept blaming the bartender. My son ordered some sort of appetizer that was absolutely swimming in oil and grease and was almost inedible. I ordered my dish to be made with steak and received chicken instead so it had to be sent back. The only part of our dining experience that went smoothly was paying for it.
