This was our third time here for lunch. I always get the chicken chili and it's enough for me! A five dollar lunch isnt bad at all. This is the second time we came for Rachels next door and ended up at Maise instead. The place is practice a ghost town. Sure there is room for improvement but I would go back again. Today my husband's chimichanga was fried to crisp perfection and we liked the red sauce on the enchilada.
This isnt nothing authentic at all. Ordered “enchiladas” and they put a tomato paste on top… Bruhhhh that’s nowhere close to Mexican! Atleast hire a real Mexican to make y’all some decent salsa not the store bought one. Sorry but my experience was horrible. Waitress was even hungover ?
I am extremely disappointed. I was craving some Mexican street corn and was in the area that I’m not familiar with. I decided to use Google as a source to find a place where I can get it. The corn was not even close to what Mexican Street corn is suppose to look or taste like. It was a poor representation and should not be sold at the establishment if effort will not be put into what is being sold. Never Again!
We arrived exactly at opening time. The tables were flecked with food from the night before. The chips and salsa were good, and our host and server were quick and friendly (we were the only ones there at first). However, the main dishes came out luke warm and needed to be sent back for reheating. The seafood and steak burrito had a gelatinous American cheese melted on it. The beans and rice both tasted reheated. They were both dry, and the beans had a white crust on top from being dried out. My husband's crab item literally just had crab in it with no sauce inside. Another item had what seemed like just tomato paste on top. It was a pretty gross experience. At the end, we were given a box but no check, and we waited for a while before going up to the host for our check. Our server was apologetic and kind. The people kept this from being a one star. The food was overpriced and we will definitely not be returning.
Very good appetizers and desserts, and well priced drinks! The food was not authentic but still very good fusion food. It would not stop me from going back!
Overall good place - good food, service, and atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Loved the salsa and chips, and some of the margaritas and good and strong. The main reason why it's not a 5 star is because it's not too authentic Mexican. When they asked me if I wanted hard or soft shells for my tacos, I knew it wasn't authentic, because you don't have that option in actual Mexican restaurants! I got the soft shells, and I'm pretty sure they were not homemade. But it is a good place overall and I would go back!
Ok. Nothing special. Food was alright. Not sure why the bartender waited on a table of 8.Should have had a waitress wait on a big table. Place wasn't busy.
Went here for a date night and the service was great and the portions were large. Well worth the money. We'll definitely be back here again.
Food was excellent! I had Street Tacos and a chicken taco with mango salsa that were great.Might want to ask for extra asparagus in the chicken, asparagus quesadilla but flavor was really good.Nachos were disappointing, very boring and cheese was just a melted pile in center, didn't have much along the way of ingredients no vegetables, came with a ramekin of salsa, meat was sparce. But it was just an appetizer.Margaritas were excellent!! Recommend the strawberry house Margaritas (not the jalapeños one)!!
They were short staffed tonight and the remaining staff went above and beyond!! I surely hope the staff receives extra compensation because they were working non stop and awesome tonight!
