My experience was horrible. We went in with a 2 & 3 yr. Everyone stood around for 5 minutes before seating us. We placed our order and the food took over 30 minutes to get to the table. It was an easy order. And they were not busy at all. They forgot my toast then we realized the food was cold. As I sat in my seat one of the waitresses came around the corner and spit her dentures into her hand. That was enough for me. We went up and to pay the bill and the hostess asked how everything was and I told her. All she had to say was I'm sorry to hear that and tossed my bill on the counter to sign. I told her she should consider another line of work because she's very rude. We could of went to Burger King and had a better experience for less money.
Your typical diner sums it up for this place. Have gone here numerous times over the years. Never have had a bad experience with the staff. They get you in and out but don’t rush you. The food is decent, never had a bad experience with it. You get what you pay for type of food.My family and I will definitely be back.
Food is absolutely phenomenal!!! We really enjoyed corned beef hash and chunky monkey waffles!!!!! Generous portion size (enormously huge, to be honest), everything is fresh and seems really healthy! Service is quick and attentive, we were seated at the time we arrived, our waitress was doing her best!
Was here Friday for breakfast. Service was friendly, food came out quickly, served nice and hot. My omelette (without toast and potatoes) with tomatoes was perfect, one of the best I’ve had. My wife’s Lyndon breakfast was equally good - best sausage, huge pancakes, scrambled eggs nice and fluffy with everything served hot. The food was very, very good. So you’d think we’d go back next breakfast out. Probably if the place hadn’t been so grimy - menus dirty and sticky, table not properly wiped, window sill by front window had all kinds of junk on it, vestibule by front door looked like it hadn’t been swept or vacuumed for weeks, glass showing desserts had all kinds of handprints and fingerprints on it. If this what the front of the house looks like, I hate to think what the kitchen looks like. It’s hard for me to imagine how this restaurant owner could be proud of the cleanliness of his establishment. It certainly can’t be hard making this place look much better than it does now.
While traveling my sister and I had a very long day due to traffic volume and a trailertruck accident on the hiway.As we headed toward Strasburg,Pa. we searched for restuarants that would be open late.Most close early so we stopped here.The food was pretty good.....in spite of the fact it was delayed due to a fire in their basement office.....the staff was capable and handled it well. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome,didn't rush us out even as they were locking up for the night behind us as we left.Would recommend it.
I gave it 2 stars because the waitress was friendly and provided good service. The prices were also good, but the food itself was absolutely tasteless. We went early Sunday morning for breakfast. I had the chicken and waffles Hollandaise and my husband had something called an Irish breakfast skillet. Neither had any flavor whatsoever. I’ve never had such a flavorless meal. Even salt and pepper didn’t help. My husband put tobacco on his and that’s all he could taste. The coffee wasn’t great, either which is unusual for a diner. The desserts in the display case looked beautiful, but I don’t think we’ll be back.

We were a large party of 12. And we didn't wait too long to be seated.When we were seated, Jaime took care of us. She was nice and quick! She was running back and forth with everything we asked for. Very helpful.I didn't take pictures of everyone's food. There were no complaints.I got the Lyndon Irish Breakfast. Huge plate of Corned Beef Hash. I picked up the toast and there were more food under it lolThe other item everyone loved was the Chunky Monkey Waffles.
