Was here Friday evening for a birthday party, our first since the remodel, even though we had been coming here for years. Loved the updated decor as it was in dire need of a facelift. Really feels and looks modern but comfortable. Wasn’t fond of the dining seating in which still is the lobby off Harrisburg Pike. Our party, in a private room in the back, was wonderful. Service was exemplary in every way. Food was excellent - served hot and promptly. My veal parmesan with rigatoni was probably the best I ever had. Wine selection and featured cocktails provided plenty of choices. Unfortunately too many reviewers here want the “new” Lombardo’s to be serving some of their favorite dishes unchanged from prior management. Sure some of the favs are gone but no restaurant can evolve if it doesn’t alter it’s menu to changing tastes. I liked that many of the old dishes were still on the menu but with different recipes. The old but new Lombardo’s salad was awesome. We’ll certainly be back. ?

Service wasn't great! Had to wait alot for drink refill and other simple things. Food was good but not great! My cannaloni was partially hard and lacked flavor. And the area we were sat was very cold that several tables had Coates on. Won't be back. Disappointed!

It's so hard to book a table at a good restaurant in Lancaster on a Saturday afternoon, but I was lucky enough to have a table at Lombardo's Restaurant. Black sea bass and delicious sauce mixed with cherry tomatoes, leafy greens and a dash of rice. Perfect for my taste, healthy and delicious. veal parmesan very delicious. The coffee is amazing, we added Sambuca……Professional and friendly service, come again next time.

Had a fantastic anniversary dinner. It's server was fantastic. Everything was wonderful. The food the wine the atmosphere. Just a great dining experience

Was very disappointed. Kitchen wasn’t accommodating to a person with dairy allergy. Was told can’t change anything, everything is already made. And that every meal has butter or milk. Portions were small and over priced for Italian food. The old Lombardo’s was an original Italian restaurant with authentic food. Place looks nice inside. Won’t be going back.

Good luck if you make reservations online & need to make a change. Tried contacting them 3 times leading up to my reservation - no one answers the phone & they do not respond to voice mails. The hostess’s excuse when I finally spoke to someone was that “they must not have been able to understand my message” (all 3 of them?)(strange seem to be understanding me just fine now) - left us stranded without somewhere to eat and family visiting from out of town. This is not the first time I’ve had this problem with this restaurant - I guess this is what I get for giving them second chances. I won’t be visiting here again. Happy Mother’s Day mom!

As always it’s absolutely fabulous. The bread/oil combo is ridiculous. We had the Veal Parmigiana with Rigatoni, absolutely tremendous.

Our table was ready when we arrived, decor comfortable yet modern. We were served warm bread with olive oil, freshly grated Parmesan cheese and roasted red peppers - delicious! I had gnocchi with sweet potato filling, ham and a cream sauce. Others had lasagna, eggplant parmigiana. Excellent service from Zoe!

My wife and I went to celebrate our 11 year wedding anniversary. The initial interaction was good. Hostess greeted us kindly and explained our table was not quite ready(we were a tad bit early) and told us to have a seat at the bar if we wanted to and she would come get us when it was ready. Did not take but a few minutes and we where taken to our table. Now here is where the problem lies, the table are they sat us at was an area where the tables where so close together that you had to turn sideways to get between them and you sat SO CLOSE to another table that it made you feel as if you where out to dinner with the table net to you. Went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and that is where they sit you, are you kidding me? My wifes dinner was cold, my dinner was not the greatest as well and I ordered a piece of chocolate cake for desert and I am 95% sure it was store bought. $8.00 for a piece of cake that was store bought? $142.00 Diner bill and my wife gets cold food and I get store bought cake. the waitress was the only saving grace in that experience. Save you rmoney and go elsewhere.

Our first ever visit and we are Lancaster County folks for over 60 years. Wish we would have tried this sooner. We enjoyed an excellent meal. Real Italian! The garlic bread was awesome! I choose the crispy veal parmesan and my spouse had the chicken parmesan. Both were very good. Highly recommend the Lomardo Salad. We will be back again.
