We absolutely loved our dinner tonight! My gin and Prosecco cocktail was refreshing and unique. We had the fried green tomato and shrimp & grits as starters - fresh, delicious and quite generous portions. We have had shrimp and grits so many places and by far this was one of the most unique we’ve had - I loved all the veggies! I had the trout main entree and really enjoyed the accompanying veggie salad as well as the subtle smokey poblano flavor of the gazpacho. My husband also enjoyed his chicken confit entree. Service was outstanding: our server was so friendly and attentive. They were also so kind to offer us a complimentary dessert because we were celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary.Lastly, the outdoor seating area was beautiful with tables nicely spaced. We look forward to returning soon!
We went for a nice class dinner with 22 people. We did not have a good experience, will not be going back and don’t recommend it. The waitresses were impatient and rude the food was not cooked to order and not good. The main course was a steak that was ordered medium. The center was almost bloody. The broccoli tasted like dirt. The potatoes however were good. The cheesecake did not have any flavor and was a very chunky unpleasant texture The crust tasted stale. All and all this was a very over priced restaurant and the food was not good.
Lovely meal in a very nice restaurant. Nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We started with asparagus which was lovely and then had the beef tartare Caesar salad which was great (but very filling).
My boyfriend and I ate dinner there last night, the cream of mushroom soup was the best, yum!!! But they have only 1 vegetarian choice for entrees, the white bean dish which was quite blend actually, could have used some pizazz like the soup!! Definitely should NOT be listed among veg options in Lancaster!! Staff was very courteous and prompt to serve.
I took my wife their on a Saturday weekend of Valentines Day. Was hard getting a table on such short notice anywhere in Lancaster. Our go to fave only had a 10:30 pm. No thank you! The menu was fixed, with fixed options and price. First time there for me. It was a great time. Service was legit, as was the food. Steaks were cooked perfectly, we both ordered med. rare. My wife and I Will be going back, and also have a new go to!
Had an Anniversary dinner here. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, I really can't think of even a slightly bad thing to say.We will definitely be back!
Nice local beer selection. Not a lot of menu offerings, but what they do have is memorable. Service was what you'd expect... very good!
The food was exceptional and our waitress was a delight! We loved the idea of supporting local farms. I got the pork and my husband got the duck and it was worth the price!
I have know Sean and his talents for a long time. As a fellow restaurateur his cuisine is my go to. Having a historic restaurant in Hershey my time is limited but when I want quality, service and amazing flavors he never disappoints, plus he is a man of values and integrity.
We had a party of five, wait staff was cordial, helpful in our wine selection, patient with our questions, an overall wonderful experience during my friends milestone birthday celebration.The food was prepared well temperature wise as well as presentation; everything was delicious including the tasting spoon of root bisque (would like to see this on the menu)
