We loved it. Must try. Beer, pretzels and burgers were so good.
Food was amazing!! Had cauliflower pizza crust, herb chicken linguini, snapper, and pork all incredibly good. A little pricy but worth it for a good meal. Service was outstanding!!
Our server was attentive and most guests enjoyed their meal. Didnât care for the Asian salmon burger. Bun was very soggy and inedible. Sandwich layers were ok, but quite difficult to eat. Needed to use fork and knife because it fell apart.
Had a reservation for 5:45 with my family (4) including my 81 year old Father-in-law. Hostess seated us by the kitchen door and at a table. I asked if we could move to a booth (4 of them were unoccupied) She told me that they have a lot of reservations and would be unable to move me. I said, "we have a reservation too and it would be easier for my father-in-law to hear in a booth". I'm not sure if she heard the last part as she was already walking away. Needless to say, 3 of the 4 booths stayed vacant for the next 30 minutes. In the meantime, a family was being seated by another hostess at the table next to us. I overheard them ask for a booth instead of the table. She moved them to a booth right away. Kind of mind boggling to me that she couldn't move us in the first place. I was even more confused and frustrated that another group was able to be moved right away. I want to be very clear. I was polite in my request and didn't feel like it was too much to ask. On a positive note, our food was really good. My wife and I had the Salmon and the Scallops entrees while my son and Father in-law had a burger and chicken sandwich. I had to wait a little bit extra for my salmon but the chef came out and apologized. He didn't need to but it was nice that he did. We have been to IH a lot but this visit didn't meet the usual experience we are accustomed to....
Great meal.
Server was awesome. Took a while for food. Beer is reasonably priced. Food is pricey and really didn't taste as good as it sounded. Brussel sprouts were deep fried and greasy. Pretty loud. Sticky gross tables from sanitizer.
I met a friend that I had not seen since the beginning of the pandemic for lunch. We met after most of the lunch crowd had left and sat at an outside table. The weather was good, the service excellent and the food tasty. The server was attentive to our needs, suggesting an alternative to fries and noting changes requested by my dining partner. The lunch options were wide ranging from elevated burgers and fries to a Mediterranean wrap. We both enjoyed our selections, but most of all, we enjoyed sitting for a few hours to catch up with one another. Although the outdoor dining was not busy when we were there, there was no pressure at all to leave from the staff. Thank you Iron Hill!
Regular customer there. Enjoy the food/beer. A lot of overturn of staff due to covid and who knows what else. New staff appears a bit inexperienced but will likely get better. The music in the bar area keeps me away a few times a month. Thinking of boycotting until I hear that the music has changed.
The bartenders are very nice, efficient, and attentive. The food is casual and tasty. I wish they'd bring back the crab cake entree and sandwich selection. Their crab cake was delicious. The only negative that we have is that the music is terrible. They used to have good music and it changed sometime around beginning of 2022. We still go to the restaurant but less often than we did when the music was good. My rating for this restaurant is negatively impacted by the music selection. I hope IHB remedies this issue so that I can give them a higher rating in the future.
My husband and I spent Mothers Day here at the brewery and it did not disappoint. We had a hard time deciding but ultimately went with Country Schnitzel, salmon and Cajun pasta. All of which was delicious. The Cajun pasta has a bit more heat than I expected but very well done. Salmon was perfect and the schnitzel was by far the under dog and winner.Place was busy for the holiday but our server was attentive and informative. We found street parking but there is a paid lot behind the brewery
