We stopped here for a late breakfast and as soon as you walk in you can tell they were under staffed. Jason greeted us,seated us and also served us. We ordered from the Under 55 part of the menu...2 eggs,2 pieces of bacon or sausage ,hash Browns and toast. Our breakfast did not come as we ordered. Hash Browns overdone and bacon not cooked crispy. I was looking forward to a good cup of coffee...but for some reason I had to use 3 creams and it was still too strong. So I ordered tea instead...what a great cup of tea. Jason was very efficient and attentive to our needs.
I went there today with my fiance and my toddler. There were only like 4 people TOTAL working and had a huge hoard of people right before we came. We waited patiently for a very long time but honestly time can't replace the the quality of this staff. Even tho they had rude customers and other things that just kept happening they were all kind and inviting and did their best to help everyone to the best of their abilities, as quickly as they could, with amazing attitudes given they were the ones short staffed dealing with all the problems. Their manager Frank even came to numerous tables, including ours and apologized for the wait and discounted meals for the inconvenience. Exemplary service and thank you for the great meal!
This is the worst restaurant to visit in Lancaster. I have been here now for 20 minutes and have gotten flat Dr. Pepper and a flat spirit. I got coffee as well. The waitress I have is very slow and trying to do way to much. The waitress I had was Aline D. I wish I had another waitress. My food still hasn't come out yet. This is totally insane and the worst idea to come here. I definitely won't be returning. Worst IHOP experience I have experienced.
8:30 pm, other area restaurants had a long wait so we tried this IHOP. Walked in and it was completely empty, very sad looking. Sat down, opened our silverware rolls and everything was dirty. Asked for new ones and they were also dirty. Asked for an extra plate and the plate had food stuck on it. Even though the restaurant was empty, took forever to get our food. Would not come back, would not recommend.
Awful service from the get go. No one was there to greet us or even be at the front. Multiple employees would walk by and not even look in our direction. When someone did come by, she held her finger up, as to say “one second.” But no words exited her mouth-horrible customer service. If you don’t have time for customers or can’t use the voice box you were gifted, then a bad review is coming your way. We were finally seated, by the way, it’s very uncomfortable. My friend has chronic back pain and it was very uncomfortable for her. Our waitress was Tonya, who was VERY sweet but I will be honest, she was not very attentive; however, she was attending to most people in the restaurant. After we ordered our food, a slew of people came in, one family with around 15+ and a couple. Because there was no one to greet them and they had been waiting for at least 10 minutes, the woman walked back to the kitchen and found employees. She told her husband she found them screwing around in the back. It took about 30-35 minutes for our food to come out and we were all sick afterwards… genuinely. The has browns were like not fully cooked and tasted straight up microwaved but for too long. My friend received 2/4 pieces of bacon. The tomatoes in my wrap were almost plastic like. Our sweet waitress was the only saving grace of the whole place. It wasn’t very clean, the lighting was dingy, and the staff was rude. Would not recommend coming here or wasting your money, we commend Tonya, though. She was great!
Curbside food was promised at 12:40 and was still waiting at 1pm. Called them and they said it would be right out... Had to leave without the food after waiting 40 minutes for nothing more than pancakes for my daughter.I was annoyed that people were parked in the curbside parking lot and not in their car but turns out 40 minutes later they came out with their take out. They had been waiting since before I had even arrived.
A lot of much needed improvement has been made!! Came and had brunch with my family and we had a wonderful time. Food arrived hot and quickly. The only flaw was 1 dirty fork, but slip ups happened....waitress was friendly and stayed on top of drinks. I definitely will return.
The food was good. They were extremely short staffed so there was a bit of a wait to get seated then get our food. The waiter was very courteous and the food was good. I will definitely eat here again.
I’m only giving this place one star because I couldn’t leave a review without rating them! I was just there on Sunday 3/6/22 and I was more than appalled by the uncleanliness of the facility! The floors look as though they have not been cleaned in weeks and the bathrooms were utterly disgusting! I cannot imagine what the kitchen is like. So our waiter brings us syrup and spilled it all over the floor by my feet, walks away, never cleans it up! I had to clean it up and pour water on it…I will never be back and the health department should be evaluating this place!
We went for dinner and we had to wait for about 30 minutes till they finally took our order. The food took another 25 minutes to get. It was obvious that they just did not have enough help. Very sad. Next time we will try something else.
