A nice little simple cafe! Detailed menu on wall and comes with recommendations from staff too. Ordered cinnamon French toast (YUMMY!) and the salmon muffin dish with potatoes. Didn’t like (can’t have) the greens on it so next time I would take them off, as a stomach preference. Potatoes are crispy, how I like them too. Food was served hot and of good proportions having leftovers. Staff was very nice. Noticed desert on way out but was to too full to buy any. For drink had hot cocoa, came out of a machine. Would like to try different drinks next time. Hoping they have Italian sodas. Young girl at cashier counter didn’t know if they served them or not.
What a wonderful little restaurant!!From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was pleasant and inviting. You order your food at the counter, then you're seated, and served once the food is ready.Food was pretty quick to come out, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the creamed chipped beef with a blueberry muffin on the side, while my wife ordered an omelet. The breakfest potatoes were very good! The seating is somewhat limited, but the tables seem to turn pretty quickly.I'd highly recommend, and will definitely be back myself
Food was mediocre.Service was terrible.I was there 10am visiting a friend and brought along my 4yo, so it was just the 3 of us.After 1 hour, we were told "ok ladies, there's a wait on large tables" and were essentially asked to leave."We ordered full meals, each getting omlets. They were flat and uninteresting. The potatoes were over cooked.Disappointing experience and would have liked to spend more time with my friend that I only see every few months.
The food was good, friendly staff, very clean, fast service and fresh brewed iced tea? off the beaten track.. great find.
Enjoyed the chef omelette & my husband had the smocked salmon platter. Generous servings of food for both. Inside is a bit small but was not overly crowded. We’ll be back to try some other menu items!
I was so looking forward to trying this adorable little cafe. The reviews were hit or miss but I wanted to try it for myself. It was a miss for me. Way overpriced ($36 + tip for breakfast for two) and the food was disappointing. I got one of their specialties... Crab Eggs Benedict and in my opinion it was awful. For the price I was expecting quality lump crabmeat and got shredded dark meat like you would get from a can. My first bite was crunchy from shells and the English muffin was rubbery. My husband got the Pumpkin French Toast and while it was much better than mine it was nothing to rave about. For the money spent I expected more. Absolutely a cute place but for me- misses the mark on quality, taste and value.
Food was delicious. Heard the pancakes were good and did not disappoint. They were soft and fluffy.... delicious.
Fantastic place!! Opened the front door - walked in and the hostess said, I saw you coming and set up the bigger table for you, since you have a baby - do you need a high hair too?” Friendly. Very fast service! Order at the counter but they bring the food to you.Great tasting food! Lots of variety.Wished we lived closer to visit more often!!
Cute little Cafe..friendly staff. Eggs Benedict and Mediterranean Omelet were very tasty. Service was fast, place was clean. Pricey but would still recommend.
New review for January 2022: it's been about 1 1/2 years since we've been here because we moved out of town, and we had an opportunity to go back there today, but we were very disappointed. Although we arrived a full hour before closing, we were told they were done seating customers for the day but we could still get takeaway. That didn't work for us since we had no place to eat takeaway other than our car and it was 28° outside, so we decided to go elsewhere. The interior of Ida's has changed, also...there's no more vestibule or table menus; customers now have to order from an overhead menu at a counter. For us, Ida's has unfortunately lost some of their charm.
