Excellent service. Great food. We will be back again.
We really like their taco pizza. I hope the night we went to order inside for it was just a fluke when they said they don't make it. They were probably understaffed that night as it took almost 25 minutes for someone to come by and take our drink order and another 15 for our food. Most experiences have been good.
We stop in for a beer and food frequently. They have several beers on tap and have three or four refrigerated sections full of bottled/canned beer. The price is on each. They also have a full bar. We have had the plain Jane stromboli, cheese steak and chicken cheese steak all were terrific. There are several TV if you want to enjoy a game. Unfortunately due to short staffing they haven't been open on Sundays but would check in case things change. Staff is very friendly which adds to the good time.
Closed before 10:30 pm when it's advertised to 11 pm employee left a sign in the door and just left. Won't be coming back.
Food tasted excellent while eating it, but puking afterwards was a done deal for me. Doubt I’ll eat here again ??
We’ve ordered take out from this place a few times now and while the food is good, the customer service needs some work. Whoever the man is in charge of to go orders has always made us feel like an inconvenience over the phone and in person when picking up our food. I thought maybe he was having a rough day the first time we ordered from Highlands, but after the 4th and 5th times it just seems to be his usual. It’s a shame to see this from a local business; as we love to support and shop local, but with every experience being negative I feel I should post this to let management know.
Highland employees bust their humps to give great, prompt service. Every time my band plays there, they give 100% to take care of us and all who come to support us
Best Cuban sandwich I've ever had!
Delicious food, warm and very hospitable atmosphere. Extensive variety of ales and beer! Nice size bar and regular dining available.
Kitchen manager scolded us (a group of 10) for attempting to order at 8:06 pm on a Saturday night. Posted closing time says 9. The server (Robah, I think) was fantastic in trying to work with us to get food while he was clearly getting in trouble with the kitchen manager. Part of the reason I moved into the neighborhood was to be within walking distance of a few restaurants/bars. Highland is on the "never again" list. We are a group of overtippers and understand the F&B business. Had the kitchen manager treated us with ANY respect, we would have understood. I fully understand that it is a really hard business, especially now with trying to hire and/or training new staff, but this jerk had the demeanor of a drunk bully.
