Sushi is good. Maybe the best depending on which you get. I have come here for over a decade.

Where this place underwhelms you with the look of the restaurant, they make up for it with the quality and price of the food. I went at lunch time so prices were reduced but still. For $10.95, I got a full bento box consisting of shumai dumplings, seaweed salad, miso soup, spicy tuna roll, white rice and garlic chicken. I mean you just can’t beat that. I wish the tuna roll was not puréed but overall it was really good.

If your doing grubhub, make sure you repeat your self over and over.. showed the worker my phone , for two orders for two different customers. They only gave me two bags for one customer. Saying it was for both of the customers, now covid is still going around I do not open up closed bags that have food in it.

I used to love going here for sushi. Not getting any rolls with Spicy Tuna listed anymore as they arent using tuna pieces but pureed tuna instead. The texture is horrible and i had to scrape it off to be edible. The rest of our food was fine and tasty but no more sushi here since we dont know if it is actual sushi grade fish vs pureed meat before we get it home. Mothers day sushi is a bitter disappointment today

Just got delivery and the food is not very good at all! Lo mein noodles are thick and clumped together like they are days old. Spicy cashew chicken has no spicy flavor whatsoever, dumplings are rubbery and cold. Terrible, I can’t eat this. Yesterdays leftover food served today? Just terrible.

Nice, quiet place to enjoy lunch or dinner. Can accommodate a larger group if necessary. Service is a bit slower than I'd like, but once the food starts rolling, you are in for a delightful treat! Didn't disappoint.

So far, this is the only Asian restaurant to give 2 bags of fried wontons with large soups in the area.I ordered seafood hot and sour soup, and seafood hot and sour soup and received 4 bags of noods. I'm waiting for the day they ask you for how much you want. The restaurant wasn't busy so there was plenty of time for the hostess to talk with me.

Sushi was delicious and service was good. Lots of options that made it difficult to decide!

I took my Husband out for dinner and we were craving some Chinese food. I have not been here for a number of years and they always had good food. Things have changed a lot since we had some seriously Draconian lockdowns here in Pennsylvania. Although the atmosphere at Ginmiya is not like before and it was a Monday evening the service was really quick even though it was a skeleton crew (Monday), the menu is now also a shell of it's former self; however we ordered, my Husband ordered an egg roll, which he remarked that it was probably the best one he has ever eaten and his usual go to pork fried rice. I did taste his fried rice and it was quite good, not mushy, fresh and hot, I ordered the Popeye Special Seafood, shrimp, Scallops and vegetables in a brown sauce with wine, that came served on a sizzling cash iron platter, and I mean sizzling, it was the loudest sizzle I have ever heard and it sizzled loudly for at least 3 to 4 minutes. I have NEVER even heard anything like that in a Steakhouse even at Ruth's Cris. I needed to let my sit about ten minutes so the I didn't scald my mouth, but when it finally did cool down enough to attempt tasting, it was very very good, the sauce was different and extremely tasty brown sauce, there were plenty of shrimp, Jumbo and some of the tiny ones and bay scallops, broccoli, carrots, snap peas, celery and mushrooms and I ate all but two pieces of broccoli, my Husband and I were both astonished that I ate it all and did not need a take out box. I also had ordered their Miso soup with mushrooms, also very good. So even though some things seem to now be forever changed since the lockdowns, the foods that remain on Ginmiyas menu are still very good for the price, which is quite reasonable based on quality and quantity. It is wonderful that we have now returned to in house sit down dining, so NO MORE COLD CHINESE TAKE OUT! I and my Husband would BOTH recommend Ginmiya! Our server didn't not introduce herself, but she was very nice and prompt and doing double duty as the cashier.

We have a long time tradition of eating Peking Duck on Christmas Eve. In the past my daughter has brought it home from New York. This year we thought we would get it locally. But the restaurant that seemed most promising was closed. So at 3:30 pm, I called Ginmiya. The chef agreed to make it before the evening rush started. It looks amazing!
