Friendly's...you mean NOT so Friendly's...Walked in and the waiters were standing at the front desk. I had to say good morning. And they didn't even respond to my Mom when she greeted them! We were seated and found out that breakfast time had passed. Mom wanted pancakes and when the waitress heard that, she said "Well if u want to leave, I won't feel any kind of way". We would've chosen something on the menu, but there wasn't any encouragement to stay. First and last time at NOT so Friendly's
We just had 2 cheeseburgers, fries, waffle fries and 2 medium sundaes. We had it delivered. We thought the ice cream might melt but it didn’t. And it was DELICIOUS! We always try to eat at Friendly’s when we come to Lancaster. Thanks Friendly’s for a delicious dinner!!
Placed an order for curbside pick up. Got there a few minutes before food was supposed to be down. Parked in the curbside pick up space. Texted the number to let them know I was there. Then I waited and waited. Finally after 20 minutes I went inside. Food was ready, but no one brought it out. So now everything is cold and the ice cream is melted. Do yourself a favor and stay clear. If you can’t do curbside, don’t offer it!
We do not have this chain in the south and I find the food to be excellent for the price. We had a Reuben and a turkey melt today both with waffle fries and both were great
Very nice evening. I was not expecting this outing to go so well as it was 4 children ages 13-17 and myself. No complaints. Service and food were above par. I ordered a dish I hadn't had in over twenty years. Clamboat platter. It was excellent. Didn't have to ask for additional napkins or request things. Our server paid attention and made suggestions which helped her upsale and the kids benefiting as well. I will gladly revisit this restaraunt gain in the near future
Food delicious!! Service , not so hot. My server was ok, but most of staff seemed young, and were only there so they can make some money
I mostly come to friendly's for ice cream, which they are good; but I decided to come to friendly's to eat and have my dessert at the end. I wasn't expecting high quality because I already knew what kind of food they deliver but all I'm complaining about today is their dirty walls, ceiling, tables and crack spoons. On some tables they have a hanging ceiling lamp, when I look up at the lamp that was on my table, what I notice was disturbing, it looks like chew gums or wet little paper stuck on the lamp. next to my table was a window which was with dust. This made my visit extremely unpleasant.
Friendly's is always good for a quick meal. Love their melts! Not crowded for a Saturday afternoon brunch BUT we froze:( We were informed they were having a problem with their heat. We could tell. Sign on door said to have patience because they were short staffed. Waited for what seemed forever for our food once we ordered.
I typically love Friendly's. The service was great. We loved our waiter; he was very accommodating. The food was good however the only suggestion I would make with the Cheddar Jack chicken is season the broccoli and less salt in the gravy mashed potatoes. The broccoli was bland but not inedible. The potatoes were too salty and again not inedible but could be improved. Besides that the chicken was very juicy so I did enjoy it overall.
Stopped in for a lite lunch Friday before heading to Atlantic City for a few days. We were seated right away and our waitress was with us within minutes. i decided on the chicken finger appetizer with blue cheese and bbq sauce for dipping. My husband went with a burger and fries. Amount of food was just right and both meals were hot and tasty ~~~ fries were also very tasty. Not much of a wait time for our meals to arrive ~~~ in and out in a very reasonable period of time. We would stop in again when traveling through and would recommend to others. Give it a try.
