My family and I really had a wonderful stay here! Absolutely LOVEEEE the grounds! Very clean rooms, pool was great, Friendly and welcoming staff! I even left a jacket after checking out. I called and they sent my jacket to me with no problem! We are actually looking forward to staying here again.
When I decided on this hotel in Jan it was at an affordable rate, but I was unable to book until last min and rates almost TRIPLED! had I paid the previous rates I wouldn't complain but 760 for 2 nights no breakfast, it's totally not worth it. The kid pool was nice and front desk employees were fantastic! I found garbage left in our room from the previous person. And when we asked to have the sheets changed (my son got sick) we were told they couldn't come in the room and change the sheets, BUT they came in the room and left the sheets for me to change!! For the amount of money we paid I shouldn't of had to clean or change sheets in my room!
Sorry this is long, but I love this venue!I have visited this awesome venue multiple times over the years for business meetings, seminars, and conferences. The location is easy to find, ambiance is luxurious, the restaurants food good, staff friendly and rooms clean! The grounds are relaxing. The area around the lake has a walking pathway and many chairs to relax by lake under tree shade. The church is beautiful both inside & outside architecturally. Not sure if this is part of the venue, but its off the walking path.The area has developed over the years and a Starbucks is across the driveway! ☕️ ?. Plenty of other shopping and eateries across the main road. If you stay don't forget the warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in counter and good lancaster county brand complimentary coffee in lobby.Lancaster County is home to fabulous culture of Amish and Mennonite and is a great educational trip. In the hotel lobby has plenty of resources to find these treasured experiences. Build a day or two to relax and enjoy!
I’ve stayed here twice and both times were a fantastic experience! Rooms are comfortable, the app makes the key process so easy, and the amenities are great! As a vegan, I didn’t have to worry about scrounging for food. Chef Shanika and Chef Tatiana made me some truly delicious plant based meals for lunch and dinner and the breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant has a nice variety of vegan food. Thank you!!
We booked for the kids pool with the water slide, but the slide was removed. Our daughter still enjoyed herself but it was still a bummer. Pools were clean and warm. The hot tub is walled off, empty and maybe under construction. Our room is nice, but we didn’t have a book for room service or local restaurants. Room is insulated from outside noise. Even with an event going on we did not hear a thing. AC in the room was very loud when turning On and off. It was startling at night.The restaurant still has a very limited menu, so our dinner choices were disappointing. Dogs are allowed (pets) in the restaurant so the meal included barking.Front desk staff is great! Super friendly and kind. Grounds are beautiful and well kept.Overall not a super great experience for the price we paid.
Wish I would have stayed longer than one night. The pool and play area for toddlers was better than some parks. Great gym and just beautiful grounds around it to exercise outside. Perfect facility for meetings also.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was much nicer than I expected. The hotel, the grounds and the pool were all very nice, clean, and well maintained. The staff might have been the friendliest group I have ever encountered. The rooms were nice and clean. I am crazy when it comes to bathrooms and these were exceptionally clean. The shower had great water pressure and actually drained correctly. Most hotels (even more expensive ones) leave you standing in a pool of dirty water.The cafe inside isn't a Michelin starred restaurant, but the food was good and they didn't price gouge. Again, the staff was super nice and accommodating.I would definitely stay here again. I am already planning to use this hotel for our annual golf outing.
5 stars for the facility and food. 1 star for the wedding experience.The grounds are stunning. The interior courtyard and meeting rooms are well kept.There were a few standout employees we encountered - Brian who helped with facility logistics (and anything else he could stand in for) and Connie and the waitstaff and Mary’s banquet team. They should be commended and rewarded for their abilities to proactively problem solve and help.We visited for a wedding and would not recommend this place for a wedding again. The execution of the wedding rehearsal and wedding day were neglected by the wedding person, Michelle. Hands-off, absent, poor communication left our bride and groom in need of information and improvements many times over the two days. Things went wrong many times and she was no where to be found when we needed her, or to communicate problems in advance.Visit here for the water park, the golf course, the food or an event, but this is not the place for a wedding unless you roll in with an entire team to manage it for you before, during, and after.And like other reviews said during wedding season the interior courtyard which most rooms surround, will have loud music til 10pm.
I would not recommend going to this hotel. Also far my 24hr+ stay has been bad. The toilet seat is pee stained, the shower water changes temperature with out me touching anything, there was hair in the sink when I first arrived, soap that leaves the sticky feel, and there is a loud gala going on and I literally have to wake up at like five tomorrow. The loud music is very hearable even in my room on the top floor. This Gala ends at ten. I wish bare minimum while booking the hotel they told us there was going to be a gala and a loud party.I would recommend going to another hotel near this one, maybe the Marriott that is less than ten minutes from here. I have not been there, but it has better reviews. Good luck going to sleep if you book this hotel, especially if there is a party going on.
Wonderful hotel stay with a jacuzzi tub. The hotel is beautiful and situated in a very good place. You can hail a Lyft from here no problem. The staff was very friendly and App check in worked out well using the digital key. Breakfast at the restaurant was wonderful also. I’d def stay here again.
