Food was absolutely delicious!!! And they accommodated our huge group. The waitresses and waiters very very nice. Excellent overall!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My friends and I stopped in for lunch on a rainy Saturday. The staff was so friendly and the food was great. Can’t wait to go back an enjoy the outdoor dining space. Columbia Kettle Works is a brewpub attached to the restaurant and had a wonderful experience there as well.
Service took a while and the food was just ok. The presentation looks better than it tastes.
Run as far as you can, it's all scam. Waiter doesn't even pay attention to the order and the food taste like it's reheated. ? Waste of time and money. Environment wasn't so bad however everything that shines isn't gold.
Wonderful, delicious food! I had the shrimp enchiladas - full of flavor and downright yummy! I live over 90 minutes away, and I would come back just to eat there!
Short version: their food made grocery store microwaveable tex-mex food seem like a Michelin starred dinner. Waitress and staff: rude and lost and at first unwilling to accommodate a larger Hispanic group but when a similar sized Caucasian group came in after us they were sat immediately and with nothing but smiles. Bad food bad service 0 stars would not recommendLong version:It would not be wise to call yourself authentic Mexican food if everything tastes like it comes from a can, box, or is microwaved. Check other reviews who share the same comment: their queso fundido and queso con chorizo, so easy to do right, yet their version is sour and congealed like it was days old. Tinga is meant to be shredded chicken and chipotle sauce brought to simmer so sauce can reduce and coat the chicken and onion, their version is a dry reheated chicken with a sprinkle of red sauce over the chicken right before serving. Rice and beans taste worst than Taco Bell’s. Another reviewer of this restaurant suggest going to chipotle instead and I agree! The waitress was asked for a bottled mineral water and empty cup and a lemon/lime wedge. She said she would have to ask if they had lemon/lime and didn’t bring anything until she was asked 3+ times. What kind of place that serves tacos or any Mexican food might not have lemons/limes? Service was super slow and it was hardly busy. Makes it hard to not want to leave $0 tip but we left 18% anyway just not to feed their possible prejudice against people of their own ethnicity. I had never left a review before but I wanted to warn others not to waste their time and money. Do yourself a favor and try another restaurant in the area instead
If you’re looking for mediocre food and poor service, this is the place. I ordered mole enchiladas, which were decent, but the tostadas de tinga were questionable. The plain chicken just had onions covered in this weird sauce poured over them (not even cooked together with the chicken). But the worst part was hands down the service. Our server was clearly having a bad day and made it very apparent. We asked for some lime slices for our drink to which she replied, with an irritated face, that she “had to check the kitchen” to see if they had any… What do they serve their tacos with then? She just made it seem like we were such a bother for making her do the job she signed up for.
Some of the best street tacos I have had thus far in Lancaster. I would highly recommend their carne asada tacos and with the salsa verde. As others have stated, the cheese dip is not like the typical creamy queso dip found at a Chipotle or another Mexican restaurant which threw me off at first, but I have never had a bad meal there. They do not serve alcohol in house, but you can order food and have it delivered to Second Gear next door.
This is fantastic Mexican food. I’m not sure how this place for any negative reviews. I tried a bunch of tacos, horchata, and the chorizo fries. Everything was delicious. This place isn’t just good Mexican “for Lancaster”, this is good Mexican food.
It's a little neighborhood restaurant that serves pretty good Mexican food. Had read other reviews about it, so we gave it a try on a recent Friday night. Starting with the food (most important quality for a restaurant) - we had one of their alambres (Zarape, I think), their carnitas platter, a cactus salad, and their guacamole. Everything was very enjoyable, and well prepared. The service was excellent - the young man who took care of us did a nice job, bringing us glasses for our wine (they are byob), and water glasses. They are physically attached via a doorway to the Columbia Kettle Works in Lancaster, so they have people from their ordering food, as well. Seemed to be a popular place for some of the local neighborhood people. Will look forward to a return visit to try even more items off their menu.
