In the mid-1980s, Wendy’s had an ad campaign featuring an old lady who orders a burger at one of Wendy’s unidentified competitors. Then, she calls the manager of the chain — who happens to be vacationing — and yells, “Where’s the beef?!” That ad campaign was very successful and even appears as a case study in marketing or advertising textbooks.I went to this Mediterranean chain hoping for a nice healthy meal. Most of my meal was delicious, but there were a sum total of four burnt lamb meatballs in it. (If you look carefully in the picture I have posted, you can see a burnt one in the lower right hand side). I’m writing this review 90 minutes after my meal and I’m hungry. I paid $13.50 for it…for a medium-sized bowl of vegetables and some little burnt meat.Where’s the meat?! And why is what little of what you gave me burnt?!Either get your act together or quit the business.
Admittedly CAVA is one of my favorites! The food is so fresh, custom and healthful. The Lancaster location has always been a great experience.
This is a "build-your-own" place like Chipotle but for Mediterranean food, and it's fantastic! There are a ton of options to create your own bowl or pita, including options that would work with a wide range of dietary preferences and needs. Every element of the bowl I built was incredibly tasty, and all of them worked well together. And the employees are friendly--always a plus.
Tasty and quick, friendly service. The pita chips are amazing!
Great for fast-casual “Mediterranean chipotle” type of place.I get a bowl here. They have tons of vegan-friendly options.I enjoy getting a healthier “greens and grains” bowl with super greens, brown rice and lots of fresh vegetables, falafel. I like that they have 5-6 vegan salad dressings.
Despite never having used Google reviews before, I had to make it known that I will forever be grateful to the amazing customer service here. CAVA is my comfort food, and I went there when I was having a particularly miserable day a few weeks ago. The employees were acutely aware of and empathetic towards my pain, offering their condolences and providing the utmost kindness. If the employees from that day are reading this and somehow remember, thank you for your generosity, and if their boss ever reads this, please give them a raise!
This is a wonderful place to eat and the foods always delicious!
Very mediocre. More like Chipotle but much more expensive.
Delicious poke bowl style eatery, I had the braised lamb and it was good.
Amazing falafel. We enjoyed our rightrice bowl & lamb pita. We bought extra falafel & hummus for home. I enjoyed their unique teas & juices. Hummus is similar to sabra rather that the velvet smooth kind you get at traditional Mediterranean restaurants. My toddler ate pita, lamb & devoured the falafel.Staff was very attentive & nice. Bathrooms clean & stocked. We would love to come again.
