The food is great! But the service is no longer the same. The daughter is very rude and seem to be way in over her head of how she can treat her customers and her worker. I may be American but I’ve study and lived in Vietnam for more than 8+ years and speak and fully understand the language. I truly feel bad for the skinny guy that is working there. If you do come and eat make sure you call ahead and ask for the Older lady. She would be happy to help you. As for the price going up you could at least put more portions out. Rip off.
I'm not here for the ambiance, I'm here for the food...and it's some really good pho. The iced coffee and tea is also delicious.
Don't let the "hole-in-the-wall" atmosphere fool you. Once you get past the back-alley location and the cigarette stink (reminiscent of the 1970s!!) at the entrance area, you find yourself in the cutest little restaurant with service by a friendly family, who is happy to please. Had delicious pho, spring rolls and lemonade. Note: They are only open until 7 p.m., not 8, as it says on their Google page.
Best bowl of pho in Central PA. Off the beaten path but 100% worth the trip. Fresh ingredients, rich and complex broth, great protein, and a pool hall right next door (unsure of connected though ;)).
I've been working my way through all the pho places in Lancaster. So far this is my top choice. The broth is fantastic- sweeter than most I've had which I loved. Prices are about the same as other spots, maybe a little cheaper. It's a family run restaurant, no frills but makes up for that with great food! My only "negative" didn't end up being really negative: they do not give you cilantro on the side plate. Just basil, sprouts, lime and jalapeños. But honestly I didn't miss it! The tables are loaded with the usual sauces but they also have fish sauce available. The meat was very flavorful and a good portion. So if you're a fan of pho and like sweeter broth, this is your kind of place. It's hidden away in the industrial part of Lancaster and hard to spot unless looking for it. 10 out of 10.
Pho and Eggrolls are the best! BUT this restaurant is incompetent. Before the pandemic this business was thriving, the owner/staff were very welcoming, and they were starting to get very popular from having more experience in business. After they opened up again, this place hasnt been the same. laziness and carelessness is starting to show in the business and soon I’m pretty sure they’re going to close down. They literally never have more than half of what’s on the menu available to order/buy. I can never go into the restaurant and order all the things I want because these people never prepare enough or buy enough ingredients. I talked to the owner about her always out of food and she told me to call and order before showing up to the restaurant to dine in. She also wants us to call and order appetizers before coming in or we won’t get any because she won’t prepare them. What kind of business is this?? The price on all their food has increased drastically whereas the pho is now around $14 and their portion has gotten even smaller. Don’t ask for Eggrolls because they don’t have it even though it’s on the menu. Don’t ask for Banh mi because they don’t have it even though it’s on the menu. Don’t ask for steamed rolls because they don’t have it even though it’s on the menu. Just don’t ask for anything besides pho because they don’t have it even though it’s on the menu.
Delicious and fresh -- will return for sure next time I am in town.
We got carry out pho and it was delicious!Great service and the ladies working were super nice.
I ordered rice with pork chop, shredded pork and skin, egg patty, sunny side egg! They didn't have egg patty so they substitute with another sunny side egg! I also ordered 4 spring rolls and when I got home, I discovered that they gave me 4 summer rolls instead! The rice dish had no flavor what so ever and the summer rolls are not any better! The rolls are mostly lettuce, 1 shrimp cut in half and 1 small piece of pork. I'm really disappointed!
Great Pho And Fast survive!!!
