We enjoyed our breakfast at the cafe and they decorate their latte with cute designs. It is really expensive though - we had breakfast for 4 and paid $71.36.

I really enjoy coming here for breakfast or just a pick-me-up in the afternoon whenever I'm in town. Their coffee is good, their food is delicious, and the service is fantastic.

Legit coffee, friendly staff and delicious food! Honestly one of the best lattes I’ve had in my life. If I was in town longer I’d come back for more. Highly recommend this spot.

The pear salad may be the best salad I’ve ever had. I will be back to get that again!

Hands down one of my favorites coffee shops to go to in the city. It’s well known, but it’s quiet, with a minimalistic/rustic feel to the atmosphere. Their food is great quality with vegan, healthy options. It’s the place to go to get a fruit & yogurt parfait & get some work done or to catch up with a friend.

Been coming here...5 or 6 years? Finally decided to give a review as my feelings have changed on the location. It's really gone downhill in the last year or so. I used to come in every day to get my coffee before classes and the occasional meal. Everyone was really nice and actually knew me after a bit and it felt nice to have a place to go to for studying and work and I didn't feel like I was taking up space when all I could afford was a cup of coffee and sit there for hours. Food was always delicious, atmosphere was AMAZING and the staff was super friendly. This was always my #1 recommendation for a café and breakfast in the city to anyone I could brag about the place to.Well that's changed a lot since then. Mind you I spent my entire undergrad coming here.I've noticed in the past year it's really not as friendly as it once was, as I still came here since starting my career. All the familiar faces I knew are gone and the staff that's replaced are not friendly or inviting. They're really not. It makes me sad to see other reviews reflect the same opinion. They're very short, and it feels like an inconvenience to stand there thinking about my order if I have to. I haven't sat down to eat there since last summer due to how the vibe had changed and switched mainly to to-go orders as I still wanted to support the business. But as of late even going to get my to-go order just feels off. You don't even get acknowledged half the time anymore and even if you do it just feels forced. The baked oatmeal is still amazing, and the food is still pretty good. But I don't know...cafes in the city really don't have the same warm and inviting atmosphere as they once did. Starbucks is in fact more friendly and I find that same warmness I used to feel here there.

It was a great first time experience. Good flavor of the avacado toast with a poached egg. They do have gf bread to exchange in some menu items.

I've been going to Cafe One Eight since 2013. It's still my favorite place downtown. The food is farm fresh and healthy, Chai is my favorite drink. The staff is always friendly and professional. They really care about their customers. And the actual location is beautiful. I rented the space for an event a while ago and it was perfect. I always invite friends and family anytime their in town.

Amazing experience. Great coffee, tasty food and quick service. We loooooved it!!! Planning to return soon! Gluten free options available also.

Tried Cafe One Eight for the first time and was impressed by the coffee ( I had a peppermint mocha latte and my husband got a caramel latte ). The inside also has a decent amount of seating and is very cozy and super cute! Will definitely be back.
