Looking over some of the 3 star and under reviews and most seem to be hard to believe. My family and I go to Cafe East often. We have never experienced sub par food. Also many people that it is also a go to spot.If someone is complaining about price increases i just have one question for them. What in your life has not had a price increase? Sure hope you don’t review a grocery store because the next time you buy milk you may be in shock.Cafe East keep up the great work! We will continue to support you.
We've ordered sushi here numerous times and have been really pleased with it. Well made, generous pieces of fish, creative, and always prompt. We keep coming back and appreciate the service and quality of food. Thanks!! ?
I am a regular customer. I always get extra duck sauce for my egg rolls. They gave me a pack of duck sauce my last order since I’ve been back from Florida. Awesome people and awesome service. Have been going her for the last 10 years. 10/10. I don’t eat egg rolls and I order 3 everyone I go here
Was visiting my grandchildren and daughter , decided to try Cafe East . Gave order of one order of chicken chow main , paid ,was given # 43 to ask for upon waiting 10-15 minutes . Returned within time limit, gave # at counter , was ready gave me a bag and left the cafe . Upon opening the bag , I was given someone else’s order and too late to go back . And someone had to be given my order !!!! Very very disappointed with Cafe and myself for not checking order before leaving Cafe ???????
No indoor dinning yet , but still the best place for Chinese food around lancaster.

Used to be our go to place. We have supported them thru all the covid issues. They still have sushi we love but the meals and egg rolls have gone down hill. High prices and little meat and the veggies chopped into bits. Tonight's 80 dollar meal was the last straw. I keep thinking they will get better back to pre covid. Nope..left overs going in the trash not worth saving. Such a shame they used to be so good!
Very disappointed. I usually get great food but lately have been very disappointed. For example, Just ordered the Pineapple fried rice... I repreat FRIED rice. The meal was COLD even though I showed up within 5 minutes. The fried rice was not fried rice, it was white rice with cold shrimps added. I still ate it because I was hungry. I will give one more chance as I do other places with sudden sub part meals.
Fresh excellent food, reasonable prices, very nice people. I travel all over the United States with my job and I eat sushi everywhere. Café East Lancaster is clearly and definitely one of my favorites. Not sure how you could give this place less than five stars,
