This is a great place to catch nearly any sporting event. The bartenders are accommodating and fun. The restaurant gets 4 stars but Cheyenne gets 5! She always takes great care of us and is friendly, fun, and all around fantastic !
Started going here back when they first opened and over time it started to decline. Finally decided to have lunch there Sunday afternoon and ran into one of the originals Wanda! Service was outstanding and food was great! I’m glad I gave it another shot because I’ll definitely start going again more frequently!
Cheyenne is the best bartender I have ever had in my 27 years of life. She is super ridiculously outstandingly amazing in every way. She makes really good drinks and bats her pretty eyelashes at you too. 10000/10. YOU GO GLEN COCO!
Came to Arooga's with a friend last night for the UFC fights, and we both had a great time. Our waitress, Keera, was great and always stopped to check on our food and drinks at the perfect times. I have been coming here frequently recently because the food, drinks, and atmosphere are great, and the staff have always been very friendly and provide great service every time I'm there.This location has been receiving some poor inspection results, though, which is concerning. I have not seen anything unsafe or unclean personally, but multiple inspections in the past few years have shown poor results which is a shame.
Only one person in front of the house. Bartender Zoe is absolutely excellent. She was covering the bar, patio, and tables without missing a beat and very polite and outgoing. Still found time to have conversation with guests. Worth far more than MINIMUM wage. There was nothing MINIMUM about my service.
Very good food and beer. Some of the bartenders clearly hate their job and are sassy you know whats. But when you go in and wait 30 minutes after one beer and have to flag someone down for a order...Either or its hit or miss with those employees. Sit at a table if you don't want or have a reason to be at the bar. Guaranteed service at a table.Get the electric lemonade with vodka. Moscow mules are delicious and 5 dollars.
Man I tried really hard to love this place.We live in the adjoining development and had ordered 2-3 times during COVID, but every time our order was wrong (or missing items) and food came cold / had been sitting a while.Finally we tried dining in the restaurant. Service is so-so. Last month I had intended to use Arooga's as a meeting place for my women's group. I had called 5-6 times throughout the day to make a reservation but had to leave a message each time (no answer) when we arrived I was told that there is no hostess on staff and no one checks the phone messages so they had no idea we were coming. We were denied the ability to sit outside in a beautiful evening because they were "short staffed". So they sat us in the hallway by the bathroom (at the high tops) the bench seats were ripped and torn, the table was sticky, the carpet is really gross.As a pescatarian I REALLY appreciate all of the impossible burger options, but I just cannot get over the service and cleanliness (or lack of) .I have been in the service industry for 20 years and these are fundamental issues. Not staffing issues.A quick Google search of "Arooga's health inspection" shows that all of their locations are suffering from many of the same issues.
Good for people who only care about the FLAVOR of the wings. The wings taste like they are made with low quality chicken and are barely meaty. Also, all of the times I got pickup they messed up the order in some way. Fries are good though :)! The outdoor patio and the atmosphere inside is nice though. Good for people who are interested in sports because of the flatscreen tv's.
LOVED the tacos, 3 tacos with WARM tortilla chips on the side!!! Huge sports bar with lots of TV's, outdoor & indoor seating, comfort food.
The service and food was very good. The prices are decent. Overall nothing bad to say. I will try this place again! Sign up for their app and you get a free app!! The bacon cheese fries were really good.
